Selected grapes are hand crafted to make wines of excellence from the unique terroir of Waipara. We are 100% self sufficient, we grow, make and bottle all wine on the Torlesse Estate We are 100% Sustainable both as a winery and vineyard as audited by the NZ Wine Sustainable Winegrowing brand.

A relaxed and enjoyable wine day out from Christchurch. Visitors praise the beautiful Waipara wineries, tasty Pinot Noir and Riesling, and friendly, knowledgeable guides. The tour is well-paced with a good mix of tastings, scenery, and a winery lunch or platter. Occasional comments mention tight timing or average wines, but overall it’s great value and highly recommended for an easy, social wine experience. 🍷
