Great to see the animals in a natural environment. We saw kangaroos, wallabies, emus, koalas. Very informative, well worth the fee and time.

This tour with the very personable Katie was a real revelation. We went on a 75-minute hike through Wildlife Wonders Park on that somewhat murky day and learned as much about koalas and kangaroos as they differ, how best to sight them, where and how. We discovered several koalas with her right at the beginning, then immediately saw the potoroo and pademelon in hiding in the bush! We were thrilled and could learn a lot thanks to this interesting and expert guide for our later solo trips. A highlight of our stay in Apollo Bay.

Great set-up, they provide rain jackets in case the weather turns on you. Extremely knowledgeable staff who are happy to answer questions. Saw so many different animals and plants and learnt so much. Close to apollo bay and a perfect morning stop if you are travelling to the apostles.

We enjoyed a good tour with Cherish. She was enthusiastic knowledgeable and answered our questions in a friendly engaging way. We were lucky enough to some koala’s, one close up as well as Wallabies, kangaroos, emu’s. Cherish also told us about the various plants & trees as well as the important conservation work being done. The team at reception & the emu cafe were also friendly and welcoming. Plus the food & beverages were good. Overall we would recommend a visit

Wildlife Wonders is a wildlife sanctuary located in a scenic area not far from Apollo Bay. They operate on guided tour model; their goal is to provide a predator-free enclosed conservation area for native animals. Animals are able to roam freely and did not exhibit any fear of our group as we walked through the area. Note that this is not a zoo - animals are not confined, so there are no guarantees as to what animals will be visible during your visit. That being said, we were able to see kangaroos, potoroos, koalas, and emus. The tour lasts 75 minutes, and each person on the tour is provided with a set of binoculars and an earpiece which makes it easier to hear the guide.

A lovely tour around the wildlife reserve. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and pointed out a lot of animals that we would have missed without her! The koalas were sleeping at the tops of the trees, but a lot of other animals were around, so it was really worth doing.
