Our tour takes a unique approach to tours in St. Augustine. We limit our groups smaller to create a more personal experience. Our certified guides offer the most experienced and entertaining historical narrative of the city of St. Augustine, locations of historic events and the citizens who helped create and maintain the oldest city in the nation.
We will cover the founding of the city, the first Spanish period (1565-1763), the British Period (1763-1784), the second Spanish period (1784-1821), the American territorial period (1821-1845), and the Flagler Era (Gilded Age, 1884-1913).
This is a walking tour which covers a 1.7 mile route over the 90 minutes of the experience. It takes place during the day in Florida, so plan accordingly.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, sunscreen and maybe an umbrella as well. There will be restrooms available at the beginning, end, and at the midway point as well.
This is the perfect tour for the history enthusiast!

This tour is lovely. Kevin has an encyclopedic knowledge of St. Augustine history. The content varies well between Flagler-era discussions and Spanish colonial topics. Highly recommend!

While listed as a 90 minute tour it lasts a bit more than 2 hours and is well worth it. Our guide was Kevin and he was incredibly knowledgeable with a great delivery and sense of humor. We learned so much—highly recommend!

We had a great time. The tour was scheduled for 90 minutes but Kevin is in no hurry to rush through the tour the actual time was about 2 hours. You can tell Kevin loves his city and is very knowledgeable about it's history.

Kevin was a great guide. He was welcoming and very knowledgeable. His presentation during our tour prompted me to pursue several topics he'd introduced on my own. I wish I'd had a history teacher like Kevin. He also offered suggestions for restaurants and other places to visit during a comfortably paced tour.

Enjoyed my tour with Kevin. He was an excellent story teller and knows a lot about St. Augustine. Please add this walking tour to your trip, and I recommend doing it ASAP after your arrival to get a bit of history and they lay of the land. I go on many tours when I travel, and this one was top tier. One of the best I've ever been on.

Kevin provided us with an enthusiastic and informative walking tour. I would highly recommend it! He clearly knows the history of St Augustine and loves to share his knowledge. Our tour was booked for 90 minutes, but it lasted over 2 hours. He was able to answer all of our questions, and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. He even offered his cell phone number in case we wanted restaurant or attraction recommendations!
