Had a lovely tour with Adrian, he showed us (my friend and I) plenty of interesting sights and places, but more importantly he explained what males these places special and thier history. You can really feel the passion, interest and knowledge Adrian has for Bucarest and Romania. And to top it all off, he gave us an extensive list with plenty of restaurant recommendations to avoid to touristy places.

Adrian was an amazing tour guide that really showed us all sides of this beautiful city. He’s very knowing and answered all of our questions and even went above and beyond by providing us with a list of local restaurants, museums and local food!

This tour was an amazing experience! The guide created a wonderful, engaging, and informative atmosphere, sharing fascinating history and local stories that really brought the city to life. Well-paced, friendly, and full of insight—I left with a much deeper appreciation for Bucharest. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city.

It was raining and the streets were wet and slippery, I told the tour guide to slow down twice but he kept going fast, telling us “let’s go let’s go” repeatedly, even after I told him that I had fallen the day before. More importantly, he kept picking on a fellow traveller asking about his religion, what he eats, what he drinks, etc, which was all inappropriate. I’d also recommend that he makes less jokes. Sometimes they get lost in translation and sometimes we were not sure if he was joking or serious. At the end I think the tour has some potential if the guide gets out of his own way. Lastly, the commentary was a bit too nationalistic to be cool. I don’t want to be too harsh on the guy but he has some work to do.

Did this tour with Adrian on Dec 28th, it was cold but he kept us moving and there were a number of warm up spots. Adrian gave us lots of interesting facts, anecdotes and did a fantastic job of giving us a flavor of this fascinating city. He covered architecture, culture, politics, history, religion and food in an engaging and non rushed manner. After the tour he emailed me some recommendations for things to see and places to eat, which were spot on. I enjoyed his sense of humour. His passion for his job is apparent. I thoroughly recommend this tour.

This tour was a very positive surprise. Our family joined it at the very beginning of our trip. For the rest of the journey, we were able to navigate Bucharest more stress-free and avoid the tourist crowds. It feels like, through the tour, we got to experience the very heart of Bucharest — its atmosphere and its places. During the tour, we heard historical facts but also personal stories. We also received plenty of extra tips about what special sights to see and where the locals eat… Right after the tour, we even found ourselves having lunch with the locals, affordably, in the most charming little place. It was also wonderful that the guide interacted with our five-year-old in such a great way.

It was nice to know about the history behind the buildings. Other travellers should join as well for history.
