This classic Santa Fe food and drink adventure is focused on Santa Fe's downtown Plaza neighborhood. You will explore Santa Fe by foot while sampling the best in local food and beverage. You will have a chance to sample classic New Mexican flavors, as well as get a taste of what’s new and exciting in Santa Fe’s food scene. Along the way, you’ll learn about the city’s long and fascinating history, with an emphasis on how Native, Hispanic, and Anglo cultures shaped – and were shaped by – the region’s unique (and delicious!) food culture.
This tour is designed with adventurous eaters in mind. Some food in New Mexico can be spicy, and while we can accommodate food allergies we are unable to provide "non-spicy" alternatives.
This tour includes a variety of restaurants, and is NOT focused exclusively on New Mexican food. We bring you the best of Santa Fe, which includes a diverse array of cuisines.

Wear comfortable shoes as this is a walking tour. Moderate amount of walking required -- tour is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) long, but spread out between the four stops. YOU MUST BE IN GOOD WALKING CONDITION TO ENJOY THIS TOUR
It is recommended that you eat a large, late breakfast the day of the tour; expect enough food to replace lunch and likely require only a light dinner later in the evening; but also keep in mind the first tasting stop begins no earlier than 1:30pm.

5.00We just arrived in Santa Fe on our first visit to NM, and what better way to get a ‘taste’ of the city (bad pun, I know) then on a guided food tour by a local? Lauren was our guide and it became clear early on that 1) she has personal connections with many of the city’s restaurateurs, and 2) she’s a lot of fun to be around! Needless to say, we enjoyed this tour very much - so much so, that we booked a Margarita Trail tour with her the following day. You don’t need to be a ‘foodie’ to enjoy this tour - the restaurants are unpretentious (the chef de cuisine at one of SF’s finest restaurants joined us at our table and regaled us with details of his comic book collection!) and the food and drinks are approachable. Don’t hesitate to sign up!

5.00Our tour guide, Lauren, was wonderful! We learned so much about the history of Santa Fe and New Mexican cuisine. It is clear she is passionate about food, and loves to share what she knows with people. So warm and friendly – by the end of the tour you felt like you had a new friend! We went to four different locations, three with food and three with drinks. A fun and informative way to spend the afternoon!

5.00Lauren was excellent guide - she shared her love for the food and Santa Fe. The restaurants we visited were excellent and the food and drink were very tasty. It was fun to spend an afternoon with other travelers in this fun activity. Would definitely do again and would recommend highly to everyone I know.

5.00Lauren was our guide and she was amazing! So personable, knowledgeable, and fun. We learned a lot about the history of the area as well as the food. We went to 4 different locations around the plaza and tasted gourmet tacos, drank a delicious margarita and sparkling white wines, and ended with a flight of amazing churros. It was a fabulous experience.

5.00This was a great tour! Lauren, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, funny, and took us to great spots to taste New Mexican cuisine and libations. My favorite was the churro bar, but everything was excellent. The NM wines we tasted were quite a delectable surprise, I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Our guide, Lauren, was so friendly, fun, organized and knowledgeable. All of the restaurant staff and chefs were outstanding and the food and drinks were delicious. Every stop was wonderful but my personal favorite was the churros at the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00We had such a fantastic time on our girls’ trip food tour in Santa Fe! Our guide Lauren was not only fun and full of energy but also an experienced chef who wove the history of Santa Fe into each stop. It felt like we were experiencing the city through its flavors, and we loved every minute. We sampled guacamole, fresh salsas, barbacoa and al pastor tacos, margaritas, and even enjoyed a champagne tasting. The highlight for many of us was the churros—crispy on the outside, yet light and fluffy on the inside, filled with sweet surprises like whipped cream, berries, and cream cheese. Absolutely delicious! Our guide kept us laughing the whole time, making the experience not just tasty but incredibly fun. This tour is perfect for couples, bachelorette parties, or just a group of friends wanting to do something unique and memorable in Santa Fe. Highly recommend!
