This private tour is designed for travelers with a strong interest in the history of World War II. Traveling through Warsaw in a retro Żuk minibus, you’ll explore the city’s wartime story in chronological order—from the outbreak of the war and the Nazi occupation, through resistance and uprisings, to the dramatic consequences WWII brought to Poland and Europe.
You’ll visit places where history is still visible in the urban landscape: buildings marked by bullet holes and ricochets, preserved fragments of the Jewish Ghetto wall, and hidden mounds of rubble that silently testify to the scale of destruction.
Stories shared by your guide are supported by archival photographs, allowing you to compare the past with the present and better understand how the city once looked. Traveling by vintage Żuk minibus adds a unique historical dimension, turning this experience into a journey through time rather than a standard sightseeing tour.

One of the best historical tours I have ever been on. Marcin was personable, friendly, and most importantly knowledgeable. He laid out a Warsaw that you will never get from documentaries or books. Truly wonderful tour (and the bus is awesome!).

Yesterday we joined Konrad for a very moing tour. From the very first stop, it was clear we were in the hands of a true expert — someone who has spent years immersed not just in dates and facts, but in the human texture of this history. Konrad talked us through the slow, calculated rise of antisemitism in prewar Poland, the devastating machinery of the Warsaw Ghetto — its walls, its hunger, its daily humiliations — and ultimately the horrifying path that led so many of Warsaw's Jewish residents to the camps. He spoke with precision and deep empathy, never sanitizing the terror, but also never reducing the victims to mere statistics. He brought individual voices and stories to the surface, making the tragedy viscerally real. His knowledge of the broader Polish and European context gave us a framework that made the history far more comprehensible — and far more haunting. This is not a comfortable tour, nor should it be, but Konrad handles the weight of the subject with remarkable care and humanity.

Tom was a phenomenal tour guide and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour around Warsaw in the authentic Zuk- it was a great way to learn about the German and Soviet occupation of the city and to see the remaining parts of the Jewish Ghetto. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour for any history fans or anyone eager to learn the history of the city. It’s also a great way to see a little more of beautiful Warsaw! Ask for Tom too!
