Everything went well. The guide was very nice. He stopped all the time to let us see the animals from every angle. There was quite a language burden, but we still got to enjoy our safari: he showed us the animals through some app he had, and for further explanations we could check on the internet - he did his best! We loved the safari

We did the 9 hour safari. Our guide was really helpful in pointing out animals we would have otherwise missed. Seeing the elephants was magical. Lots and lots of different bird species. The last 2 or 3 hours or so didn’t really see much new however.

It was absolutely fantastic! Few days we were in Uduwalawa National Park which was also beautiful and we saw like 5 elephants. But this trip to Wasgamuwa was completely different level! We saw around 40 elephants including babies and they were so close to us we could touch them (of course we didn't :).

We did the morning safari private tour. We saw all the big animals and a lot of bird life. The guide and driver were very nice and we ended up doing more than an hour longer than advertised without asking which was very nice of them. They never made the experience feel rushed and they really did try very hard to see as much as possible. The only down side was the guide had very limited English outside of animal ident so trying to extract any extra information was very hard. We still finished the tour happy we did it and it is good value for money.

We enjoyed our afternoon in the park. Elephants were plentiful (we saw around 40), many beautiful birds, sambar, crocodile, mongoose, monitors, and many other animals. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a clear passion for his job and the animals. Definitely go with these guys!

Great tour, we saw a lot of wildlife which was great! Private tour is more convenient than a full Jeep but that’s a choice. Tour guide travelling with us had a great eye for spotting all the wildlife, from elephants, eagles and crocodiles and much more. Worth the trip and recommended for everybody in the neighbourhood.

The whole day safari was unfortunately very underwhelming. Not really because of the lack of animals (even tho we just saw a few elephants in the first 2 morning hours, after that we drove around for 2 more hours basically seeing nothing) but because of the organization. The tour guide could not speak English at all and there was no plan which was told or shown us. We just hopped in the jeep and drove around. Then we parked the car somewhere and the driver took off for over 20 minutes to talk with his buddies. Didn't tell us what was going on (because he couldn't speak English..). For lunch he brought us 2 chicken and rice which looked really not good (chicken pieces with bone in rice) for 1600 rupies. After lunch we left.

We did the tour early in the morning. In general, it should be better in the afternoon, but unfortunately we did not have enough time. It was very quiet and natural in the park. You can tell that the animals can still live here in peace without being disturbed by crowds of tourists. Accordingly, the animals are more reserved. We still saw some elephants. When an elephant approached the car, the guide responded immediately and I felt safe.
