Arlington National Cemetery
Veterans of every American war from the Revolution to the country's most recent conflicts are buried at Arlington, which was officially declared a military cemetery in 1864. Among the more than 260,000 dead are three unidentified service members, buried at the Tomb of the Unknowns, and John F. Kennedy, whose gravesite is marked by an eternal flame. I have done this tour before but this time was an entirely different experience. We were only a small group só travelled by minivan. I have to say that this was a really good way to travel. We saw lots on this tour and it was so interesting. Although I have done the tour before I have to say that this time was so much better. This was thanks to our fabulous tour guide Benjamin and our driver Boris. Both were excellent and made the day special. Benjamin’s energy was only matched by his knowledge. Definitely a highlight of our stay in NYC. Would not hesitate in recommending this tour.

The trip is long but it’s all worth it. We enjoyed the view and the knowledge we learned of American history from our tour guide. Excellent.

Very interesting tour. Saw loads. But it’s a very long day. 6.30am to 10pm. However, would highly recommend.

Great experience, it's indeed far from NYC to Washington almost 10hrs return but this day tour is more convenient than you do it on your own. You also don't have to worry going to main tourist attractions. Oscar our tour guide is very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour is very organized and on time. Worth it!
