It was not an “open air trolly” as advertised. You have to take pictures through windows you can’t open that are split into 3 parts which obstruct your view. They don’t make a loop so both sides of the trolly can see the main attractions. They don’t tell you that if you board at the Washington Welcome Center that you don’t get to see Capitol Hill, the Supreme Court, Union Station and that area at all. The driver was great but overall a waste of money.

Great and knowledgeable tour guide (Jace), great sites (especially beautiful by night) and comfortable bus

We arrived 1/2 hour early as directed — only to have to stand outside in the cold and dampness for the full half hour. Once inside trolley, it was not much warmer; plastic windows aren’t airtight, and riders were encouraged to open them to take photos. Most points of interest could not really be seen in the dark; only a small proportion had exterior lighting. Our driver “Smiley” worked hard at being entertaining and amusing, but verged into inappropriate when he parked us in Virginia and regaled us for at least 20 minutes with stories (accompanied by his personal photos!) of his awards and accolades and all his famous important riders. Overall we would say it was not at all worth the price.

Very good experience, although very cold unfortunately, but the tour guide/driver Sooner Steve was awesome, definitely recommended

Wonderful Experience. My kids were a little fussy, the people on the bus were so understanding. The windows are able to go up or zip back down if colder/bad weather. We had ample time to walk around the monuments.
