What To Expect

Weekend package option 1 includes 2 nights dormitory accommodation at the Nile River Camp and costs $195pp , it picks up from Kampala on the Friday evening and drops back on the Sunday evening. It includes a full day whitewater rafting on either the Saturday or Sunday (you choose), all meals including a BBQ on Saturday night at the Nile River Camp. This option with the Friday evening pickup requires a minimum of 4 people. Package option 1 picks up from Kampala on the Saturday Morning instead of the Friday evening. This is a good option if you are travelling alone or in a smaller group and has no minimum group size. This package comes with one night accommodation at the nile river camp, all meals including the famous NRC BBQ and a full day whitewater rafting. Return to Kampala sunday afternoon with our scheduled 2pm shuttle.

The training was great ,the guide was very informative I was scared I panicked at some point but he was always quick the team was amazing they always rushed to my rescue I enjoyed every moment on that raft as crazy as it sounds I see myself doing this again

My friends and I Total 4 People had an amazing weekend with NALUBALE RAFTING, and I cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, we had an exceptional experience. The guides were professional, ensuring our safety was always a top priority. They were also incredibly friendly, and their hospitality was wonderful. Originally, I told them we wouldn’t need breakfast or lunch, but they were so thoughtful and accommodating. Halfway through our journey, they surprised us with refreshing snacks—watermelon and pineapple—to keep our energy up, which we definitely didn’t expect! Even better, after finishing the rafting, they provided us with food and drinks, which was a much-needed treat after the adventure. The entire team takes care of everything, making sure you have a great time. If you are considering rafting in the area, I highly recommend NALUBALE RAFTING for an unforgettable experience with a well-trained and friendly team.

I would like to recommend the rafting company Nalubale. We spent five hours rafting on the Naile with them. A safety boat and three kayaks accompanied us. The guides were friendly and professional. We received prior training and detailed explanations. There was a food break, and we were given sandwiches at the end. In short, it was a perfect and professional experience. thank you very much!

Rafting with Nabule has been the absolute highlight of our trip so far. The rafting was phenomenal - the team were fantastic and the rapids were awesome. This was above and beyond any rafting that I have done previously in other parts of the world (inc. Bolivia, Thailand, France & Croatia). We were given a comprehensive safety briefing at the start of the trip, which including practising various scenarios for being ejected out of the raft as well as what to do if you found yourself underneath it. With three attentive safety kayaks as well as a safety raft, I had no safety concerns whatsoever. In fact as we went through the trip and our raft flipped repeatedly in some of the larger rapids, I became even more confident in Nabule's safety measures - the safety kayakers seemed to be immediately by my side whenever I popped up from the water. This rafting is exhilarating and simply loads of fun. Two days later and I am still sporting a permanent smile. If you are in Uganda, you HAVE TO DO THIS! Thank you Nabule!

What a pleasant experience! I am travelling by my self so the weekend package was a great and easy opportunity to escape Kampala. It includes everything, hotel pick up and drop off in Kampala, meals, a couple of beers and night stay at the Nile River Camp, which was very comfortable. Very convenient and everyone was very nice throughout. Ah, the white water rafting itself was awesome! Felt very safe and in good hands during the entire day.

A thrilling experience. I didn't what to expect. I just went with my friends. We were picked from our hotel. The team was very supportive in giving us all the safety tips and answering our questions. My favourite part went the boat flipped. I struggled to get hold of the rope. The guide was quick to come to my rescue. I also loved the display from the Kayakers. It was great hearing their stories. Most of them have lived their entire lives near the water. The photography was another wonderful experience.

I live in northwestern Pennsylvania USA and traveled to Uganda to visit my older parents for a month . Before leaving the US in October 2019, I decided to take a whitewater rafting trip to compare the Gully River and New River rafting trips of West Virginia that I had previously experienced. My Nalubale experience is without compare one of the top ten experiences in my entire life. I'm over 50yrs old, I've spent more that 20 years in Africa, visiting in Europe and traveling across the US since 1988!! I've rafted and sky dived in Ohio (N. Canton Airfield) and in West Virginia. Everything from the ease of reservation, including the promptness of the pickup, the clarity of instruction, and the organization of the whole trip was very well organized. The rafting trip was an unbelievable thrill enhanced by my luck with being paired with two American couples (I went just by myself). The short of is is we had an awesome, life affirming time furthermore made better by the very reasonable price of the whole trip. If you're thinking about doing this - don't hesitate - you'll be greatly rewarded!!
