This is the place where we had 3 different castles built, and the last one built in 1856 is still standing today

5.00The city tour in Timișoara was one of the fun activities we did during our work trip to this beautiful city. Our guide, Ludovic, made it really interesting and fun – he knows so much about both the old and recent history, and he shared it all in a way that kept us engaged the whole time. On top of that, he was super friendly and had a great sense of humor, which made the tour even better :) I also really appreciated his excellent English – it was super clear and easy to follow, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you want to visit and to learn more about this amazing place, I can totally recommend this tour <3

A One-Day Trip to Timișoara

5.00Timișoara is a city located in Romania, in the Bačka region. The city has three large squares, and if the weather is nice, it makes for a very pleasant walk. In my honest opinion, spending a day in this place is enough to see everything. We traveled on a day trip without an overnight stay. We managed to visit all three squares. In a large shopping mall, we also had the opportunity to see the Van Gogh exhibition. In the third square from the main center, there is a dilapidated building that houses a museum with exhibits representing the turbulent history of Romania and Timișoara itself. The city has a large number of nice restaurants, but we recommend eating in the shopping mall due to the wide variety of restaurants and fast-food places. As for pastry shops in the city, they are all very nice and worth visiting to try a few desserts. All in all, it’s a beautiful and peaceful city with enough attractions for a one-day trip.
