The Band Rotunda, a Wellington landmark since its original construction in 1938, has been closed since 2012 as it requires extensive strengthening and restoration work. Originally named by its first Polish resident Dupa as Wellington’s bottom as the area was used for processing whales and boiling blubber for oil So named after one of the earliest ships that delivered engineers and town planners from the New Zealand company that arrived after 1840

5.00Aaron is well versed in many subjects and knows his city very well. He was very accommodating with fitting our schedule into the tour to get us to the airport in plenty of time. His dinner restaurant suggestion was excellent. We would call Aaron again if our travels take us back to Wellington.

5.00Being on a cruise coming from Australia, we were all excited to learn and see different views of New Zealand from a well knowledgeable, locals point of view. Over the 5 hour period of us being with David, he shared his recommendations, knowledge and humor with us. As well as having a variety of ages within our family tour, he was able to connect with all of us and allowed us to have an amazing time. Seeing the different views and learning some history with it, enhanced our enjoyment within our tour, by including actually interesting things which we were interested in. If you’re looking for a detailed and interesting tour, myself and my 17 family members highly recommend Kosher tours and travels, especially David (for a good laugh)!!

5.00John was our private guide that picked us up on time and was an absolute treasure to spend our day in Wellington with. He was so knowledgeable about the city, was an exceptional driver and an amazing person with a kind spirit. Had such a wonderful day and saw so much of Wellington!! We booked our excursion and had terrific communication with the office that provided us with phone number, picture of our driver and meeting point. Would highly recommend them. Exceptional services!! John gave us a green of a lunch stop too!!

5.00We had an amazing day with David. He showed us around Wellington like we were visiting a friend. Both the owner and David had excellent communication with me. David was waiting for us right at the cruise ship when we arrived. Wonderful full day and I would highly recommend!

5.00Though the weather was rainy and blustery, Aaron made good use of our time adapting to what we could see inside and out as the conditions permitted. His van was clean and comfortable. Aaron has an amazing wealth of historical and political knowledge of Wellington - I would prefer more historical & sites narrative, but was enjoyable none the less.
