The West Coast of Qatar offers a breathtaking escape into art and nature. The iconic Richard Serra sculpture, East-West/West-East, stands as a testament to modern art, with its towering steel plates creating a dramatic presence in the desert near Zekreet. Nearby, the Mushroom Rock Formation showcases nature’s artistry, with its unique, wind-sculpted rocks resembling giant mushrooms. These landmarks offer a surreal experience, perfect for photography and exploration. The vast, tranquil desert landscape adds to the sense of wonder, making this tour a must for those seeking a unique combination of cultural, artistic, and natural beauty in Qatar.

It was a great tour with Saad. Got to see lots!! Of camels and the race track. The highlight definitely was the Richard Serra’s art installation. Wished I could see it during sunset (we were there before sunset), but overall it was a great tour. Thank you, Saad!

Saad is a smart and friendly guide. We had a wonderful time for the excursion to camel race track, mushroom rocks and Richard Serra. Highly recommend.

We were traveling with Abdul Rehman. The tour lasted four hours. First we were at the camel racetrack, then at interesting rock formations that were created by erosion. Afterwards, we saw the bizarre-looking steel sculptures standing somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Was a very interesting morning and Abdul explained everything to us in detail. On the way back we tried "karak" (strong black tea with condensed milk, cardamom and sugar).

Maybe the most beautiful landscapes I’ve seen during my trip to Doha. Our guide, Saad, told us lots of details about the sites, in a very friendly and fun way. I absolutely recommend it!

I thought I cannot take this tour in the beginning due to some booking issue. No one came to pick me up. But Saleem took me to this tour only for me while he was planning to take a rest. So great to see odd shaped rock formation as well as monolith sculpture. He was so kind to give me time to go around and always tried to entertain me. I definitely recommend him.
