3.00Our guide was super friendly and made the experience fun. That being said, I thought the tour would be more learning about special effects and the history of the studio and projects it worked on. In actuality it is more a storyline that you follow through 3 film ideas the studio is "working on." I was able to ask my guide about the history and types of things they worked on, but I had thought the whole tour would be more like that versus following a storyline.

5.00This is a fantastic tour which gives us lesser mortals an opportunity to view the back stage genius and creativity of these wonderful humans! Honestly, it is incredible. Well worth the money and our guide gave us plenty of time to enjoy every part of the tour. We would definitely recommend this tour when you’re in Auckland !!

5.00Such an amazing experience at Weta Workshop! My husband and I enjoyed it so much and learned a lot about the magic behind movie making. Seeing how props, sets, and effects are created was incredible — it really felt like stepping into a world where imagination becomes reality. Highly recommend for movie lovers!

5.00This was recommended to us by complete strangers while on our way to NZ and thank goodness because it was so fun! We had the tour guide Ellie - our supreme leader (you got to go if you want to know what it means😉) who was informative, exciting and fun! The workshop was super interactive and unexpected. Very keen to come again should I be in NZ.
