The hotel pickup was extremely punctual. The driver, Giovanni, had contacted us the day before to vote. Giovanni did not make the drive from Las Terrenas to Samana boring. We have heard a lot about Land & Leute and his life in Germany. The excursion was well organized, the boat was not crowded and Papa George always had a funny saying in store. Wale, a mother with a child, we could see several times. There is a point deduction from us, as several boats have "drifted" the whales. If the guests are about to come to see them, we should pay the given respect to nature in 2025. Bacardi Island is always worth a visit. Sweet idleness paired with Piña Cola in the best weather and most beautiful views.

While the overview description in viator matched the experience the “What to expect” did not. This was not included in our tour: “Embark on an exciting adventure to the majestic El Limón Waterfall! Start your trip with a safari that will give you a stunning panoramic view of Samaná Bay. Then, immerse yourself in the authenticity of a typical Dominican ranch, where you will delight your palate with an exquisite Dominican buffet lunch. The icing on the cake? A horseback ride of approximately 30 minutes where you will observe the surrounding plantations to the spectacular 45 meter high waterfall! Discover this aquatic paradise with its crystalline waters, a perfect setting for an unforgettable dip! Live adventure at its finest!” So if you were expecting horseback riding to the falls you will be disappointed as you only go whale watching and to the beach and have lunch which is still a good experience.. that is why we only gave it a 4 out of a 5
