This activity was a great experience. Despite hearing from the Naturalists that the height of whale migration is in June, we did manage to see a family of resident orcas, including one named "Chainsaw"! We left out of Steveston, BC and the boat was large enough to conquor the open water. We had one that was covered so it made the rainy day a bit more tolerable too. Staff were very friendly and informative. One guy was there on his day off which speaks to the type of company Vancouver Whale Watching is. I would definitely recommend using this company again.

Superb trip, we were lucky enough to see a pod of Orca’s hunting a seal. Scenery was breathtaking. Fantastic

Excellent experience. The staff was friendly, the boat was comfortable, and the jackets they lent were warm. I’m fairly sure I’ll be back with my family again at some point.

April may be a little early for seeing whales. We saw one small Humpback whale partially emerge and we followed for a while. We did see several seals and sea lions. Scenery was beautiful.

That it’s absolutely worth the money, it is a bit unpredictable, but then it is all down to what nature can do, and the people who were working on the boat were genuinely conveying that without artificial or commercial kind of pressure
