  We had a beautiful day on this tour. We chose the beach only option to just kick back for the day. The staff were lovely, helpful and laidback. Stinger suit and lunch provided which was great. Would recommend to others.

  This was the perfect tour for our family. By joining two different snorkel sessions, we were able to take turns watching the children play on the beautiful beach, with an air-conditioned lunch break in between. The tour had a great size with about 80 guests on board, allowing us to get to know other families. Transfers between the boat and the beach were quick and easy. The food and drink selection on board were great, water and restrooms were available on the besch. The whole crew was professional and friendly - you can really feel that Zigzag is a family-owned operator. Highly recommended to families!

  The trip was 10/10, and thats because of the snorkling (superfun!), the boat was comfortable and i didn't know the company have employed comedians, because the crew was very funny.

  Had a super day on Zig zag tour of Whitsunday and Whitehaven beach. From start to finish the staff were so welcoming, professional and informative. We booked the beach trip with snorkel which was amazing. Food constantly being served on board. Best day ever🥰

  Sunday November 2nd, 2025 Booking, directions, ticketing and guidance to boat on the day, an easy process. I noted a full cruise, with a wide range of passengers, from 4 - 80+. The crew were very welcoming, informative and professional in looking out for us all. They had a very good system in place regarding the split agenda of snorkellers and beach guests, with lunch on the boat in between the swap overs. Although everything seemed easy going and casual, the crew were very attentive to safety and process throughout. The snorkelling was wonderful with much to see, and a timeframe that I thought very generous. Lunch was very fresh and tasty, with varied salads, meats and fruits and more than enough for all on board. Bar items, coffee, teas and snacks available to purchase on board and quite a variety available. Plenty of varied spaces to relax in throughout the day. I feel this trip was very good value for money. Sorry, no photos ... I was too busy relaxing!!! As I previously stated, there was a wide age range and considering the crew's expertise, I would say whatever your snorkelling experience, have a go!!

  A wonderful day! Very good organization, always small groups. The staff is lovely, caring for us and always with humor! Lunch was delicious. We will never forget this day thanks to you! Diving in the reef was superb. The few quiet hours on the whiteheaven beach to remember. A little more: the staff were there also to refuel us with drinks, very nice attention. Thanks again to the whole team! Don't change anything!

  Really had a good time. Snorkling was unreal and the lads really knew what they were doing. Really safe and the food at half time was so nice and filling. Would recommend to anybody look to do a tour like this.

  The boat was well supplied and comfortable. There were a lot of people but was smoothly run so we didn't feel like we missed out on anything. The lunch was delicious and plentiful. The staff continually restocked the buffet so no one missed out. The staff were friendly and efficient.

  The crew were very friendly and organised. The lunch was extremely poor and did not reflect the price paid for the trip. The recommendation would be to have a proper lunch with nicely prepared gourmet sandwiches rather than tubs of vacation styled salads. The snorkelling experience was average in the sense that there wasn’t a large array of wildlife to see and I’m wondering whether the location provided an optimal experience. I think that your claim as being the only family operated service at Airlie Beach means you have monopoly over the quality of the experience you provide. You should improve the food aspect that’s for sure. The pictures on the website showing an aerial view of the boat is misleading because those that are booking are thinking they will have access to a sun lounge. We’re in reality this did not happen. In most regards it seemed as though the crew on board wanted to confine passengers to the main area and not have them go outside to view.
