Our seasoned river guides will be waiting for you at the Bearded Men Adventure Hub, here you'll be kitted up in our changing rooms and given a safety brief before we drive you to the starting point at the famous Horseshoe Falls.
You'll be fully guided for the duration of your River Tubing adventure by our experienced team.
Once on the water and after some proof that you can float, we'll head down the twisting and winding rapids of the River Dee.
There are three major rapids on our route, do not fear our guides will be on hand to steer you through them all.
The most famous is Serpents Tail, a tick off for most aspiring white water enthusiasts.
You'll have the option to run the same rapid twice or for the faint hearted there is always the option to avoid the rapids completely.

What To Expect

You will be guided down the white water rapids in your very own inflatable donut by one of our Bearded Men Adventures team. If you're up for a giggle and a very wet time then this is the one for you! Trust us, this is an adrenaline-fuelled activity perfect for a stag or hen weekend, a great day out with you and your friends or an alternative family day out.

5.00Opted for the tubing experience on a trip to Llangollen with friends. We were not disappointed had a great time from start to finish. Bekki and Jack were excellent guides and took care of us all the way down and were very patient even with the most incompetent of us. Belly laughs and games all the way down. Would deffo recommend.

5.00Amazing guides! Complete professionals but loads of fun. This activity was absolutely out of my comfort zone and having my 12 year old son with me also made me pretty nervous. However, from start to finish these guys made sure we could undertake the activity safely with as minimal risk as possible…and there was clearly always a back up plan! They kept a really close eye on my son and ensured he had an absolutely brilliant time. Thank you Sol, Pete and Charlie!

5.00What an amazing experience! It far exceeded our expectations . In a most beautiful setting, our guide Dan made our time with him fun-filled whist keeping us safe at all times, he was sooo patient ! He gave us fun challenges to complete as we made our way down the rapids at the same time keeping an eye on us all and retrieving us from places we shouldn’t be! One of the best experiences I have ever had, I can’t recommend this activity enough!

4.00It's good bouncing around the rapids but the ring is hard to control. Wish the water level was slightly higher so we don't get slowed down by the rocks. The river wasn't cold at all

5.00I had such a brilliant time with Bearded Adventures again! This was my second visit and it definitely won’t be the last. Becky and Sol were our guides for the tubing and they were absolutely amazing – full of energy, up for a laugh, and made the whole afternoon so much fun. They really know how to keep things safe but also make sure everyone has the best time. Honestly can’t recommend them enough – already looking forward to trip number three!
