Our seasoned river guides will be waiting for you at the Bearded Men Adventure Hub, here you'll be kitted up in our changing rooms and given a safety brief before we drive you to the starting point at the famous Horseshoe Falls.
You'll be fully guided for the duration of your River Tubing adventure by our experienced team.
Once on the water and after some proof that you can float, we'll head down the twisting and winding rapids of the River Dee.
There are three major rapids on our route, do not fear our guides will be on hand to steer you through them all.
The most famous is Serpents Tail, a tick off for most aspiring white water enthusiasts.
You'll have the option to run the same rapid twice or for the faint hearted there is always the option to avoid the rapids completely.

What To Expect
River tubing in North Wales is one of our most popular activities, and not without good reason! You will be guided down the white water rapids in your very own inflatable donut by one of our Bearded Men Adventures team. If you're up for a giggle and a very wet time then this is the one for you! Trust us, this is an adrenaline-fuelled activity perfect for a stag or hen weekend, a great day out with you and your friends or an alternative family day out.

5.00What a great experience! Really fun and value for money. 3 hours was the perfect amount of time. Our guide Flynn was really lovely. He had a lot of expertise and confidence which put our minds at ease. A great way to see wildlife and scenery along the river Dee.

5.00We had a lovely time tubing with our guides Callum and Flin. Flin did a great job explaining what the expect on the trip and what to do before we got on the river. When we were on the river Callum help to demonstrate the line we were aiming the tubes, not that you had any control once you were in the rapid 😄. In between the rapids on the calmer water Flin set us some chalanges to do which was a lot of fun. Overall a great day would definitely recommend.

5.00Had a quality day on the river for my stag do. Nathan and Becky were brilliant, full of local knowledge, and made sure both groups wwre well looked after and had a great time. Would defo recommend and cant wait to come back

5.00Me and my partner did the river tubing with bearded men’s adventures for my fellas birthday. We had Sol and Jack and I was initially really nervous, Sol and Jack was super attentive and made me feel at ease without judgement. After the nerves passed I realised how much fun it was that’s when Sol and jacks personality really shone. They made it so much fun and had us laughing constantly, the river tubing was absolutely amazing and I would recommend anyone to do it, I was expecting to be in the water for around 20-30 mins but it was actually 1.5 hours.so you definitely get your moneys worth. Once again thank you so much Jack and Sol you were both amazing and we plan on coming back when my arms have recovered ahhaha.

5.00Opted for the tubing experience on a trip to Llangollen with friends. We were not disappointed had a great time from start to finish. Bekki and Jack were excellent guides and took care of us all the way down and were very patient even with the most incompetent of us. Belly laughs and games all the way down. Would deffo recommend.

5.00Amazing guides! Complete professionals but loads of fun. This activity was absolutely out of my comfort zone and having my 12 year old son with me also made me pretty nervous. However, from start to finish these guys made sure we could undertake the activity safely with as minimal risk as possible…and there was clearly always a back up plan! They kept a really close eye on my son and ensured he had an absolutely brilliant time. Thank you Sol, Pete and Charlie!
