This is a stunning half day guided cycle that lets you experience the amazing coastal scenery of the Wild Atlantic Way. The tour brings you down headlands and along wild beaches through the lush, green Irish countryside. You'll see cows grazing in the fields and crops such as maize glowing and swaying in the breeze.
We start at the Lusitania Museum/Old Head Signal Tower with views over the Old Head Gold Links, Cork harbour and the beautiful West Cork area. We'll cycle along two beaches before our stop in a traditional Irish Pub in Ballinspittle village. Here we'll enjoy a tea/coffee or soft drink before returning by bike through more stunning countryside to our start point.
The tour involves cycling on moderately hilly terrain. It is suitable for couples, groups and families with older children. For groups, the exact tour route can be tailored to your need. Bikes and electric bikes are provided with helmet and high vis vest.

Best way to get an overview of gorgeous Kinsale. Ruth was kind enough to guide me solo at the very start of the season. We had all 4 season during our tour (lol) and it was still a joy with a stop for tea to dry off. Highly recommend, and can’t wait to go back for a more in depth look at some of the discoveries of the day. Thanks, Ruth!

Very enjoyable... especially as we used the e-bikes! Loved the scenery and sights we rode through. A few stops here and there to learn the history and significance of the area was great to learn too. Our guide Ruth was excellent in all aspects! Also, loved how she came right out to the starting point with all the bikes in the van so were we ready to go from the get go.

Ruth was our tour guide and she was GREAT! She took us all over Kinsale: up high above the town with beautiful views, across the river to the beach, another swimming hole down a country road, up to the Charles fort, stopped for a coffee/cookie, and back into town. We had beautiful weather when we went too plus the tide was high. So the views were spectacular. This tour was definitely the highlight of our time in Kinsale.

Awesome adventure! It was longer than I expected. It turned out to be about 70 miles over 2 days. However, it was beautiful, fun and your on e-bikes. Melrose BnB in Clonakilty was really nice(Ruth sets this up for you). Only a mile out of town so an easy walk for dinner and a well deserved pint. Slept great since it was so quiet. Wonderful breakfast before our return to Kinsale via a different route seeing even more of the beauty. Ruth was incredible. She was easy to keep contact with prior to our arrival and was able to adjust our booking due to a change in our group number. Why see this country from a car? If you like a little exercise on your trips, this is for you!!
