Look for dolphins off the coast of Adelaide on a dolphin-spotting cruise from Glenelg, a seaside town just west of the city. As you glide across Holdfast Bay by catamaran, keep your eyes peeled for some of the thousands of dolphins who live in these waters.
This wild dolphin tour is commentated and hosted by our team of marine biologists who will inform and educate you along the way.

What To Expect
Sit down, relax and watch wild dolphins from the front of a catamaran and enjoy a 360 degree viewing deck. Watch the dolphins play on the bow of the boat swimming only a few feet away from you and your camera! As you depart the marina and set off across the water, watch for the wild dolphins who love to swim around the boat. Thousands of dolphins call Holdfast Bay home, so you are extremely likely to see them. Our tours are hosted by Marine Biologists who will commentate and educate you through this tour. Your cruise ends returning to the Marina Pier in Glenelg. Temptation Sailing also offers a swim-with-dolphins option on this cruise. Please select this option if you would like to enter the water and swim, rather than participate as a dolphin watcher.

5.00A FANTASTIC experience with a wonderful, knowledgable, charming & caring crew. To be out at sea & seeing up close these extraordinary creatures frolicking around & racing our catamaran in large pods for miles was something I shall never forget! Cannot recommend this trip highly enough. I should have swam with dolphins - there was the option to do so and I chickened out. Regret that already! But watching from the deck was AMAZING! Do NOT miss this tour!

5.00We went on the dolphin cruise that started at 8am this morning and it was phenomenal. If you have the opportunity I highly recommend it! We were lucky with the weather - it was a beautiful day and the sea was like glass. The guides were so amazing too they had such good communication with each other and rotated the swimmers around the boat so everyone had the opportunity to have a close up with the dolphins! They also were so knowledgeable and were happy to all questions along the way as well! We were lucky enough to see a few different pods of dolphins and even a hammer head shark!
An absolute must do.

5.00An absolutely fantastic day. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I booked to late to swim with the dolphins, but there were numerous pods that swum alongside the boat.

5.00This was a fabulous experience, we were lucky enough to find two pods of dolphins on our trip, their interaction with the boat was marvellous. The guides were well informed with dolphin facts and It is a “must do” activity especially for overseas guests. We will definitely be doing it again.
