Our nature reserve is located on the edge of the jungle. The journey to our park is worth seeing and varied. We cross intact savannah landscapes, see jungles and the Amboro National Park on the horizon. The journey takes about an hour. We recommend that visitors book the tour with us, as our park is located on the edge of the jungle and cannot be reached by public transport.

This is a scam! Do not pay. After I made payment, the tour operator emailed me asking to cancel the booking because he could not honour the tour the next day. This was the day before so trip advisor did not give me a refund. He then contacted me on whatsapp and asked me to organise the tour with him and pay cash. He claimed he cannot send the refund because he is not affiloiated with trip advisor - but he got my details from them! He won't answer any calls - stay away from this scam preying on foreginers.

My sister and I were volunteering for three weeks here. It has been two months now and I still think about it all the time. working close with animals has always been a dream of ours and to be able to help these wild animals that live in afasi was very special to us. The owner was really nice and he always made sure everything was fine for us. It was a very friendly environment and you could really tell that he made it his life mission to help the animals in need and try to come up with new ideas to make their lives better. It was an amazing experience and we would be happy to come back some day! We still miss it!

The guide.was not a paid employee but a gentleman whose life was invested in maintaining this refuge for animals who could not, at this time, be released into their natural habitat. In fact he and his wife live on the Preserve. Very informative and immersing as you walk amongst the rescued turtles and their habitat, see the three-foot termite mounds, and the trail the leaf-cutter ants are making. Pumas, macaws, toucan, monkeys, etc.. It is a long drive but a wonderful opportunity to see more of Bolivia. I highly recommend this experience. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Bolivia.
