I really enjoyed my visit to Windmill Studios. The place itself is fascinating and full of history, and it was great to get a behind-the-scenes look at such an iconic recording studio. What made the experience even better was the guide: very knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate, which made the tour engaging and enjoyable from start to finish. Everything was well explained and never boring. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dublin, especially music lovers. A truly memorable experience!

We had an amazing time at Windmill Lane. The guide was the star of the show—total expert in sound engineering and hilarious to boot. He walked us through the production process with great detail and plenty of wit. My only "complaint" is that I didn't want it to end; I’d love an extended version of the tour that visits even more studios. Definitely worth a visit!

We had a wonderful experience in the studio, The tour-guide ( Maeve) explained very well the history of this building as a studio as well as its former use as factory. Also the technique and recording equipment of the studio she demonstrated. It is amazing the number of artists and groups that recorded here.

Fantastic to experience the place where so many great songs and albums saw the light (Voodoo Lounge by The Rolling Stones, One by U2, Hysteria by Def Leppard...). You get to learn about the history of the studio and the building, do some quick mixing on a pro console and enjoy the ambience of the huge live room. If you are into music recording like me, or you just want to know what a pro studio is all about, don't hesitate to visit Windmill Lane, you are welcomed with open arms.

The Studio Tour was fantastic. Worth every penny. It was great to see how everything works and to hear the stories about the Artists that have worked there. We were a mix of musicians and non-musicians and everyone loved it !!

This was truly one of the best music-related tours I’ve ever taken. It offered a fascinating and authentic behind-the-scenes look at how things really work in a recording environment. From captivating stories about the many artists who have recorded there, to touring the building itself, to trying out the mixing desk and even stepping up to the microphone—it was an unforgettable experience. Our guide was outstanding: knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely funny. This tour was easily the highlight of my trip to Dublin, and I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in music or creativity. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

I am a huge music fan and music professional, and I can’t completely explain how meaningful this experience was to me. It was amazing to see the platinum records of so many of my favorite artists hanging on the walls and to stand in the studios where so much great music was made. Our tour guide did an incredible job of explaining how music is recorded and mixed and even allowed volunteers to try some audio mixing. And when he played some music back in these amazing rooms on their amazing studio monitors, it was just awe inspiring. Throughout the tour he told so many great stories about the history of the studio and the various artists and producers who have worked there. I loved every minute of it and highly recommend signing up for this tour.

Absolutely brilliant experience, The guys not alone told us about the studio but allowed us to use the equipment to learn how recordings work . The place is an absolute "who's who" of the history of Irish and International recording artists . A must see if visiting Dublin.
