What To Expect
In the heart of one of Strasbourg’s architectural jewels, the winemakers’ counter Alsatians invites you to discover the subtle art of wine and cheese pairings! Accompanied by our wine merchants and winemakers experts, enjoy 5 cheese wine pairings. This animation reserved for adventurers of taste allows you to understand the basics of wine and cheese pairings but also to detect unexpected and refined pairings. Throughout your initiation our wine merchant is there to guide you in the order of tasting and pass on the few golden rules to imagine a shaping tray worthy of the largest tables to impress your guests! This moment of sharing in a warm and authentic setting is also the perfect opportunity to exchange around the aromatic profiles of the different wines. Practical information: Duration: 1h30 minutes Languages: French and English We serve alcoholic beverages only to travelers 18 years and older. Guests under 18 years of age will be served grape juice.

4.00I enjoyed the wine and cheese pairings. It was a wonderful experience talking to people from all over the world. Our host was very personable. His English has a very thick French accent so you have to listen carefully. Also, we ran out of the bread to eat with the cheese and he would not get us more.

3.00This session was advertised to be delivered in English however it was not. Six of the eight participants spoke only French. The Sommelier did provide information in English to my husband and I however, it was clear that we didn't receive all the same information that was delivered in French. We received a brief talk while the Sommelier's French talk was much more involved and at least twice as long. We have a rudimentary understanding of French and it was clear that the tasting was a French tasting with a little English thrown in. If you are not fluent in French, do not sign up for this session.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our wine and cheese tasting. Our guy did an awesome job explaining the wine and the region it came from and the history. We had orange wine for the first time. I would recommend this tasting.
