This exclusive experience begins with your pick-up and driving 1h30, followed by a picturesque drive through winding roads and hidden viewpoints that reveal the Douro’s most intimate landscapes. 5.00A Day in the Douro We’ll Never Forget! Some days feel like they’re made just for you , this was one of them. Douro Wonderland gave us a day that felt completely personal and special from start to finish. Ricardo picked us up in Porto and whisked us through the most stunning parts of the Douro Valley, sharing stories, history, and little local secrets along the way. The wine tasting at a breathtaking estate was superb , excellent wines, each with its own story, enjoyed in a setting that felt more like a friend’s home. Lunch was amazing , a delicious, authentic Douro meal paired perfectly with local wines. Then came the boat ride: peaceful, beautiful, and absolutely unforgettable. Ricardo is not only knowledgeable and professional, but also warm, funny, and genuinely passionate about the region. Spending the day with him felt like being with a friend who just happens to know everything about the Douro.

5.00My friends and I experienced the most exquisite day in Duoro Valley with Ricardo as our guide and interpreter. Starting with door-to-door driving service, he was a knowledgeable, warm, and attentive host. And, he made an excellent choice in wineries that have stood the test of time. The private sailing trip on the vintage yacht was so beautiful and the delicious, typical Portuguese lunch in a family home with local, seasonal ingredients and wine from their private production really surpassed our expectations. I don’t know what thrilled me more… the tastes of the terroir in the wine & food, the private tour and Jeep ride through the vineyards, the picturesque views looking through the valley, or being on the famed Douro river itself, looking up at the patterns of terraces decorating the hillsides? Only 1 hour outside of Porto, and a world away. Thank you so much for sharing this once-in-a-lifetime experience with us, Ricardo! Your good energy and love of this special region oozes from your soul.

5.00We had a beautiful and an amazing day in the Douro Valley with Rita from Douro Wonderland. We fell like Alice in Wonderland. She picked us up in her Electric Car and drove us away to wine country, UNESCO Heritage. She shared so much information about the Douro Valley region and its people and traditions and an added bonus was being a great photographer always available for us. We went on a relaxing boat tour down the Douro River, enjoyed one of the best meals I have had at a family house with Sonia, enjoyed port and table wine tasting and took pictures at amazing views. Thank you so much for this wonderful day.

5.00Ricardo carefully tailored the itinerary for us. Our day started in a visit to Frades tasting amazing wines, followed by a lovely boat tour in the Douro River. We then headed to Sonia providing us a traditional and delicious lunch. We truly enjoyed our day with Ricardo, and his prices were very reasonable for the quality of service provided. Highly recommended!

Like a Fairy tale, She was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and she went above and beyond to accommodate our family. 5.00We spent 2 weeks in busy cities throughout Spain and Portugal. It was wonderful to escape the crowds and get out into the countryside. We LOVED seeing the beauty of the Douro Valley and truly enjoyed the boat tour along the river. The wines that we tasted were delicious, and lunch was fabulous with our host Sonia. In addition, Ricardo was fun and full of valuable information. This tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip!

5.00Such a beautiful Day! This was a terrific trip - very informative, interesting and great wine tasting, too. Rita was an amazing and enthusiastic guide. The scenery in the Douro Valley is spectacular and we had a lot of opportunities to just take it all in, from wandering around a vineyard to the boat ride to the wine tasting we did up in the hills. Lunch was delicious in a high quality private property with excellent hospitality.

5.00The entire experience was exceptional. Rita provided us with interesting facts and insights of the Unesco Heritage Douro Valley. From the Wine Tasting, an unforgettable journey beyond the Vineyards, to the magical boat trip and unbelievable lunch with Sonia our host. I can truly recommend this trip for a great introduction to the Douro Valley.

5.00We had a great experience in general, was even better than I expected. Ricardo picked me and my wife from the Hotel in Oporto and drove us down to this beautiful “Quinta”in Douro where we tried the best Porto wines, and lovely Ricardo, being himself part of a wine making family, that makes him a connoisseur, and so he told us a lot about the history of Douro and about the beautiful wine from this region. After the wine experience, he drove us to another Quinta, where a nice local lady cooked us a beautiful lunch with seasonal fresh products from the region, and we kept learning and listening to the stories about that beautiful region. 5 stars service, thank you for the amazing experience, and we will be back next year! Good luck
