Discover the charming island of Korcula, one of the most beautiful islands of the Adriatic, whose name Korkyra Melaina/Black Korcula dates back to the ancient Greeks. With our panoramic vehicle, we will pass through the hot spots (viewpoint Korcula, hamlets in the interior of the island). A smaller, scenic road leads us to a viewpoint above Pupnatska luka, without a doubt the most beautiful bay on the entire island.
View the fields and vineyards of the autochthonous cultivars of Korčulan grapes. After visiting two family-owned wineries on Korcula island, we arrive at our winery ‘Adria’ where we will taste not only wine but also the best of island’s liquors, olive oil, jams, and homemade sweets.
*In case of bad weather or unforseen circumstances instead of panoramic minibus we will use electrical Opel minivan (first electrical minivan sold in Croatia)

4.00As many have said, there was a large amount of driving around the island that was unexpected. However, it was a beautiful day, and I didn’t mind the scenery. What I didn’t like was the fact that the tour ran over an hour longer than it was scheduled for. The second step on the winery felt very long and drug out, and the third stop could’ve been skipped altogether. While I’ll appreciate a young man trying to make something of himself, a winery in a garage, which was told by our tour guide was the “absolute best of the tour” so to be excited for it, certainly didn’t feel like what we had signed up for. It also seemed to go on forever, and sadly to say, the wine was not good. Four people had to leave the tour using their own transportation as they had to get back to catch their ferry and or a cruise ship. The wines on the first two steps were good, and the snacks that were provided were sufficient. The tour had mentioned that lunch would be available for purchase and that was not the case so just best to know that going in. All in all, I would have a hard time recommending this to someone.

5.00Came to the winery on a sail where we were spoilt with tastings of olive oil, honey, spread, red/white wine, brandy and Vito’s own special made drink. Vito was informative and personable, and provided the group with a lot of laughs! Would highly recommend a visit to this lovely family owned winery.
