First of all dont trust the GPS coordinates provided on Viator, it will take you to a Melanes backroad to nowhere. Once we got there it was a fun experience, the winery owner shares alot of his history and technicalities of wine making. He provides a nice brief tour of his property which included a small church chapel from the Byzantine era. We didn't actually see the grape vines and Naxos is not known for wine, unlike Santorini, but it was a very enjoyable event with good humor and good food and wine!

Wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. The owner Emmanuel was very passionate about his business and of course the wines and olive oil were very good! He even arranged for transportation which was a bonus.

I was expecting something very similar to previous wine and winery tours I have done. It was a pleasant surprise to find that was not the case. This is very much a family/small business run by a man who clearly has a passion for viniculture. I highly recommend buying a bottle or two to take home or back to the hotel as I thought these were some of the most unique wines I have tasted in Greece so far.
