About a 10 minute drive from our hotel is the Berat Castle, also referred to as the Citadel of Berat and castle quarter, is a fortress overlooking the town of Berat, Albania. It holds over 2,400 years of history and contains many Byzantine churches in the area and Ottoman mosques.

The hospitality and the staff are the main things that this company has to make everything go perfectly. The Çobo wine cellar was fantastic. .The wines were a miracle that must be tried. I suggest you all to try it as I have suggested to my family and friends to try not only this, but also other activities that Albania Rafting Group has. 1.00They messaged me on WhatsApp the day before my scheduled tour saying the group was too big and there was not room for me. Even though I had booked 3 weeks before! (And they were still taking new bookings via TripAdvisor / Viator…) I had to scramble at the last minute to find a different tour.

5.00This tour was absolutely a must do in Berat. Our guide, Toni, was incredibly knowledgeable in touring the castle with us. The winery was such a cool experience and the staff are amazing. And the traditional meal was one of the best we had in Albania. Thank you Alma for organizing this!
