• Scenic half day wine tasting with snacks

  We took the Cruise Ship Wine Tasting tour with Clarence. We were notified the day before that the time was changed from 1:30 to 11:30 to better accommodate our ship’s departure. It was easy to locate the pick up point right near the cruise ship shuttle drop off. We visited one historic winery and two smaller boutique wineries. The tour included a charcuterie plate at the middle winery, which was substantial enough for lunch. Well paced, comfortable small van, and a congenial small group made this a great experience.

  Punctual pick up from our Napier accommodation in comfortable Mercedes van. Lorna was a great hostess and took us to Mission, Brookfields, Pask, & Trinity Hill. The tour was great. Lunch at Brookfields was excellent. We would definitely recommend this tour.

  A good review of wineries in the Hawke’s Bay Area. Clarence was helpful and the route well chosen. Really enjoyed Oak Winery where food and wine were both excellent, as were the staff

  Excellent communication prior to trip. Clarence was so informative and stepped in at one of the wineries where they didn’t have a staff member to conduct the first half of the tastings. It was good to see a variety of wineries. Excellent service all round.

  From the moment we booked, Clarence at the Winery tour was very helpful and informative. It was just me and my friend on the tour that day and Clarence absolutely made our experience a spectacular one! So knowledgeable about the area, the wines and even threw in some geology knowledge of the area which very much appealed to me! Each winery that was selected for our tastings was superb, the highest standard which we feel fully reflects the full experience you get with Winery Tours.   If you’re staying in the Napier area I fully recommend you book onto one of WTHB’s tours. Brilliant afternoon visiting 4 wineries in the Hastings area of Hawke’s Bay. Clarence our guide and all of the winery staff were great, very informative and friendly. Plus the wines tasted were all great, a great way to spend an afternoon in the NZ sunshine.

  We were picked up by Clarence from our AirBnB. We visited a number of wineries and both Clarence and the winery hosts were very welcoming and we learned a lot about wine production in the area …… and, of course, enjoyed a wide range of excellent wines. Lunch was included in our tour, at one of the wineries, and was delicious.
