  If you’re considering this tour but not sure, just book it! Well worth the price for a tour of almost the whole island with great information, and excellent wine. We loved Kris who was funny and knowledgeable - the highlight of our stay in Croatia and also one of the best tours we’ve ever booked!

  We had so much fun with Chris on the wine tour! He was very knowledgeable about the island and we learned so much while still having a lot of fun. The tour goes at a chill pace, but you still get to see a lot of the island between the two lovely wineries. Definitely recommend!!!

  We arrived to find the tour was booked for the only afternoon we had free. No problem - within half an hour plans were juggled and they found us a slot. Our guide Kris was knowledgeable, friendly and professional, and the wineries were welcoming and informative. Recommended

  We loved the island of Vis and loved the wine tasting tour with the help of our guide Chris. What a great ambassador for this company. He loves his country and it showed. We were on a week sailing trip with some friends and stopped into this gem of an Island. One of our friends went for a short walk and happened to stop in at their office. On a boat you do not experience the country side as much as you would like. Both winneries had great wines. We learned so much about not only this lovely island but also the country of Croatia and is people. Thank you Chris.

  I strongly recommend Paiz Travel to everyone. I rented a car, booked the military tour, the wine tour and the boat tour with them. The whole staff of Paiz Travel was super friendly, especially Ana, Kristijan (tour guide) and Nino (skipper). The whole process of booking and planing was made easy and stress free by Ana. Kristijan, our tour guide, was informative and captivating. The boat trip with Nino was amazing and had great fun.

  Me and a friend travelled to Vis ( a bit pre tourist season) so many things were not quite open yet. The staff at Paix really helped us enjoy our time on the island and saved the day! They helped us find lodging upon our arrival, thanks to Anna who took her time to help us find what we were looking for. The following day we did the military tour and wine tasting tour. The tour was very informative, fun, and really a beautiful way to discover the island. Our tour guides Chris and Katarina really were so kind and really knowledgeable about the island and its history. I highly recommend visiting the Island of Vis during your stay in Croatia (it really is special) and for sure booking a tour with Paix for all your needs while there!

  We were on Vis a little before the season starts, and not much was open. The guides were yet to arrive on the island. It was raining and we had little hopes of seeing much apart from what is within the walking distance. Some agencies turned us away, or didn't open their doors at all. Then we went to Paiz Travel office to inquire about tickets for catamaran to Split.. There we were greeted by Ana, and our luck turned! Her and the agency manager Katarina took some time to make a plan for us and later that day took us on a comprehensive island tour themselves. We were impressed with their knowledge, willingness to help and disposition to show (off) their island, and I can only guess what it is like during season. We found out about the island's rich history, from very old to very new, forming the island's unique face. We observed the character of the two main towns, heard about pirates, fishing, and secret tunnels, admired the views from hilltops, finishing off with some excellent wine tasting. Much recommended!
