What To Expect
On your wine tour you will enjoy wine tastings at three to four fabulous cellar doors and a gourmet cheese platter at one of the vineyards (all tasting fees are included). Craig will provide a commentary enroute and you will have lots of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the stunning scenery Hawkes Bay has to offer. Please note if you are arriving by cruise ship we may have to shorten the tour depending on the arrival and departure times of the ship. Generally time usually allows for visiting 3 vineyards only.

Wine & Gin Tasting Tour: Enjoy a Gin Tasting in an Art Deco building in addition to two/three wine tastings and a gourmet cheese platter.
Duration: 4 hours: Enjoy our usual wine tasting tour at 2-3 selected vineyards and a Gin Tasting.

5.00What a fantastic tour! Our tour guide for the day was Craig along with his retro VW Bus! How cool was that traveling around in all day. We had one other couple with us (lovely couple from England), which made the day perfect! We were taken to three wineries (Askerne, Brookfields Estate, and finished with Mission Estate). Loved all three and they were all completely different. Loved the wine at all of them as well as the Charcuterie Board on a peaceful patio at Askerne, the adorable dog and lovely grounds at Brookfields (together with learning about their origins), followed by the history, barrel room and beautiful setting at Mission. Thankfully we were able to bring wine back to our ship, so we had wonderful wine on our balcony while cruising. Craig is a very interesting tour guide, with so much information regarding not only the wines at each stop, but the region as well. Napier was beautiful and interesting, but so much more we didn't have time to see, so.... we will be back and expect Craig to be waiting for us!

5.00Every 5 Star review is exactly accurate. Craig was funny, entertaining, knowledgeable about each winery we visited (and they were all good). Great winery trip I’d recommend to anyone. And his VW Van is as pristine inside and out as it looks.
