What To Expect

On your wine tour you will enjoy wine tastings at three to four fabulous cellar doors and a gourmet cheese platter at one of the vineyards (all tasting fees are included). Craig will provide a commentary enroute and you will have lots of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the stunning scenery Hawkes Bay has to offer. Please note if you are arriving by cruise ship we may have to shorten the tour depending on the arrival and departure times of the ship. Generally time usually allows for visiting 3 vineyards only.

Wine & Gin Tasting Tour: Enjoy a Gin Tasting in an Art Deco building in addition to two/three wine tastings and a gourmet cheese platter.
Duration: 4 hours: Enjoy our usual wine tasting tour at 2-3 selected vineyards and a Gin Tasting. Only available Thursday-Sunday.

Craig was a fabulous host, sincerely interested in ensuring we enjoyed ourselves. He shared many stories about the region and wine industry. He is obviously well liked by the wineries we visited. Craig our guide for the day picked us up exactly on time. We were then driven to four vineyards which were all excellent. At each stop the proprietors told us about the history of the vineyard and then we tasted some quality wines. Craig was excellent company throughout and was extremely knowledgeable about Hawkes Bay and the vineyards. We had an excellent day out, I thoroughly recommend this tour.
