Wine Tasting at Nikoladze Wine House – A Journey Back to Our Roots

Our wine tasting experience takes place at Nikoladze Wine House, a family-run winery located just a 30-minute drive from Kutaisi. Here, you’ll sample three distinct white wines, 2 red, and two varieties of Chacha—Georgia’s traditional grape vodka—one smooth and refined, the other raw and pure, distilled directly from grapes.

You’ll gain insight into the traditional Georgian winemaking process, including fermentation techniques and the ancient tools still used to produce what many consider the sacred drink of Georgia. To complement the tasting, we offer a selection of local cheeses, served with fresh Georgian bread or homemade khachapuri.

Join us for an authentic taste of Georgian tradition and family heritage.

Giorgi showed us his vinery, thats 6 generations in Family ownership and producing organically natural wines. They all tasted excellent, as the Katchapuri and Lobiomi. Giorgi is a very good host, very guestfriendly and a fine person. He also gave us much information about Georgian life and society. Had a wonderful time with him.

One of a kind wine tasting tour with Giorgi. It was really a nice experience and to enjoy authentic Giorgian wine, chacha and food. :) We did not expect to have a blast. Giorgi was a fantastic guide for this trip.
