We had such an amazing time visiting Empordàlia cellar and Terra Remota. Kim was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable on the local wines. We tried 4 wines at the first stop and 9 at the second. All great wines. We loved the Catalan breakfast. Loved the tour of Terra Remota and learning about the wine making process. Highly recommend this tour.

Carquefoliens already knew the exteriors and its pleasant facilities for the residents of the Hotel. A narrow entrance where customers quickly clump together! Nice welcome, friendly of all the young staff and of course the smiling Owner giving us "visit + explanations" of the different rooms at our disposal.. Immediately an overall impression remains: a DARK atmosphere by a cruel lack of lighting, EVERYWHERE! Frankly NOT placed in the best place (despite 1 resa made 3 months ago!) Table (33) flush with the wall, stuck with impossibility backing up chair blocked by something heavy on the floor (?) Fortunately, I was able to "slide in" to sit down. RAW tables with nothing.. Mini towel fabric. Covered BOF (not changed) with big glasses not terrible not to say ugly. Tableware not worthy of the place, to see again. Appreciated: the regularity of the general "replenishment" of the food. Finely seasoned "miniatures". Excellent cheeses with perfect ripening (suggestion: Leave a pepper tree in this place), good bread. Many desserts on the other hand without originality. EXCELLENT cookies pecan. Downside on: well-cooked langoustines but unfortunately bland, tasteless. Disappointment on hot and "instant Chef" dishes: few choices, little visible .. The modest deli space (only 3 kinds): including this disastrous pile of yellowed "rosette" slices, both withered sweaty with very bad taste (rancid) seeming there for too long .. CONCLUSION: On this Easter Sunday, however, let's remain happy to have "tested" THE BRUNCH of this mythical place of our city. GOOD certainly, but WITHOUT the expected "WOW" effect! Too bad.. PERFECTIBLE on several points .. considering the fame MAUBREUIL! Conscious we remain of your difficult job to satisfy a demanding customer. GOOD LUCK TO ALL for the "adjustments" to be refined..

A highly recommended personal tour for up to 6 people over a morning. Our guide Júlia was very informative and helpful. You hop in a van and visit two vineyards in the glorious Girona countryside. The hosts in each spot were lovely and the wines delicious!

The highlight of our Girona trip! We were with Júlia and had so much fun. The wines were great as was the food. You get a lot of wines to try. It’s a nice trip to get out of the city and take an adventure.

Fantastic experience! We were picked up promptly from our hotel and enjoyed comfortable transportation throughout the trip in a convenient minivan. Julia, our guide, shared fascinating details about the region and Girona. The breakfast was delightful, and we savored every wine we tasted. The highlight was visiting Terra Remota winery: the architecture, equipment, scattered pieces of art, and the passionate staff made it truly exceptional. The excursion was amazing, and the wines we tried were so so good. Thanks for creating such wonderful memories for us.
