What To Expect
In this cooking class, you will prepare the authentic Pesto alla Genovese with me, using the finest basil in the world and a traditional marble mortar. We will then use the pesto to dress homemade gnocchi, which we will make together. To conclude, we will enjoy a delicious tiramisu. After the preparation, we'll sit down together to enjoy the dishes we've made, along with the focaccia that I prepared beforehand. We'll pair our meal with some prosecco, and I’ll happily offer one bottle for every three people. You don’t need to bring anything; all materials will be provided by me.

5.00This was an excellent cooking class with an introduction to making some Genovese classics! The class size was just right and conducting this in the comfort of their home was brilliant and added to the friendliness of the overall experience. Titziana and her husband were very cordial and catering throughout this whole experience. I would highly recommend anyone looking to cook up some Italian classic dishes to take this class!

The lesson is hands-on with a sit down lunch at the end to sample what you have made. She and Roberto welcomed me into their delightfully cozy apartment in the heart of the city and I truly felt like I was cooking with family. Instead, we found this cooking class with Tiziana, which turned out to be the best excursion of our trip! Tiziana is incredible! We felt so welcome from the first moment we met. She walked us through each recipe and even made an alteration to the tiramisu recipe after I admitted to not loving coffee. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Genoa! 5.00We joined Tiziana and Roberto’s cooking class as a family with our two teen daughters – and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed, almost like visiting relatives rather than attending a class. Together we prepared authentic pesto Genovese, gnocchi, and tiramisu. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for beginners, and the girls had a lot of fun taking part in the cooking. The food turned out delicious, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and joyful. The cooking ended with all of us sitting at the table, sharing the food we had made, sipping prosecco, and enjoying a great conversation. It was not only a cooking class, but also an authentic taste of Genoese hospitality.
