What To Expect
Wilczy Szaniec
Wolf's Lair (Wolfschanze) is located in Mazury Lake District (former Eastern Prussia), 4 hours drive from Warsaw. Complex contains over 80 buildings including massive bunkers for high-ranking German Officials like Göring, Bormann, and Hitler, among others. The quarters were a self-sufficient town and in 1944 about 2000 people lived here. During WW2 Hitler spend over 800 days in Wolf's Lair and this was also the site of an assassination attempt on his life.
Treblinka Memorial
Treblinka II was a German Nazi death camp, located 100km to the East from Warsaw. It operated for 1 year during World War 2 and number of victims was over 800 000. You will not see there authentic buildings because Germans destroyed the camp in 1943. We will start our visit from the Museum where you will watch 2 short movies about Reinhard Action and Treblinka Camp. You will also see there model of the camp. Then we will take a walk to the monument site. Afterwards we will continue to Treblinka I, which was a penal labour camp.You will have a chance to see there gravel quarry - place of slavey work and the execution site.

5.00We had an amazing day. We could not be happier with the experience. Anna does an amazing job, offering lots of insights and useful information on a very comfortable car journey. She guided us around Treblinka very professionally and then at Wolf’s Lair, the guide was Jadwija, who is obviously very passionate about the location and did a great job. Thank you Anna and Jadwija. I would recommend you both to anyone. Worth it 100%.

5.00Anna, the guide, was fantastic. She was very informative not only about Treblinka but also about Poland. She was very accommodating during the car ride and had a very well informed colleague meet us at Wolf's Lair for the tour there. I would recommend the tour to anyone.

Jadwiga was equally knowledgeable at Wolf’s Lair. In addition to sharing their vast historical facts and figures on these tours, they were also very personable. 5.00Had a great tour to Wolf’s Lair and Treblinka with Anna.She picked me up at my hotel and although it was a long day we had several rest stops along the way.Anna is just a joy to be around.She is obviously knowledgeable about the tour subjects but she is also a wealth of knowledge about all things Polish.She suggested other tours I might be interested in based on our conversation and recommended some local restaurants.She even called and made a reservation for me.What a legend. I highly recommend this tour and i can’t wait to get back to Poland and tour with IntoPoland and hopefully Anna in the near future.
