Our driver was knowledgeable and helpful. The market we were taken to was not the larger market we had originally expected but it was still nice to go and support local vendors that we did see. The temple and garden were absolutely beautiful!

  • Informative and beautiful!

We only had a short time for a tour and this was perfect. Our guide, Mohammad Sadie was amazing. So much knowledge and he took great care of us. The Hindu temple is a sight to see… the internet photos do not do it justice - it is spectacular. The Namaka market is not somewhere I would normally venture, but Mohammad taught us about different produce, arranged our coconut and kava tasting and was informative. The Garden of the Sleeping Giant was beautiful! A great introduction to Nadi and Fiji.

  • Temples, Local Food and Gardens: A Great Day in Nadi

We visited the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Temple, which was beautifully hand-painted and full of colour. We also took part in a Hindu offering where a coconut was chopped in front of us, which was a meaningful and memorable experience. Lunch at Jet Point was the most local meal we have had so far. Proper local flavours, with Indian sweets kindly recommended by Jason, which were excellent. The Garden of the Sleeping Giant was a short but pleasant walk. The gardens were lovely, although the weather was wet and the paths were slippery, so take care. We stopped briefly at Nadi Market, but did not find anything suitable for us. Our driver Jason instead recommended Baby Jacks to buy items for our baby, which turned out to be a great suggestion. Overall, the trip was excellent. Jason was an outstanding guide and driver, knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely made the experience better. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide was amazing!! He educated us on literally everything. He told us about the history of the island and answered all the questions we had! He even gave us time to really shop, and explore a little. The tour itself was pretty amazing too, the market was so nice and has some really yummy fruit. Learning about the culture at the hindu temple was enlightening. Truly enjoyed this experience.

What a unique cultural experience! So grateful to see the temple and learn about its history and to go to the local market and buy the best fruit ever. Also seeing the stunning orchids at the garden. Wow! Highly recommended.

We were picked up at the agreed time and driven to the Temple, fortunately we met someone there that could explain the meanings of the various artworks. Time spent there at most 15 minutes. We then went to the craft market time wasted 5 minutes all of 3 or 4 stalls selling souvenirs. On the way to Garden of the Sleeping Giant we drove past the Produce market not even worth stopping. The Gardens were interesting an oasis in the jungle, definitely the highlight of the tour. We were back at our resort in less than 2 1/2 hours. Unfortunately our tour was not very informative as it seemed we had a driver rather than a tour guide.

Fiji is mostly about the outdoors, but this tour gave us some of the history and culture of Fiji. Mohammed was a very good driver and guide. He was knowledgeable about the Hindu Temple and it's customs. The market and a brief history of farming in Fiji was interesting. We could have skipped the "shopping", but that's because that's not really our thing. The docent at the Sleeping Giant Gardens gave us an excellent tour. The fruit punch at the end of the tour was fantastic (funny how little things impress). Overall, a very good tour.
