Enjoy a 4hr, world class whale watch, including morning/afternoon tea and biscuits from the comfort of our purpose-built whale watching vessel, the AMAROO a fast stable 20m (66-foot) catamaran featuring modern facilities and carrying up-to 80 passengers. She boasts three spacious viewing decks meaning you are assured of an unobstructed, 360 degree view of all marine life. AMAROO has full facilities including a bar. Our experienced local Captain will provide informative commentary on the humpback whales, local area, Fraser Coast history and other marine life. Watch the gentle giants of the sea spy-hop, tail slap and breach. Hold your breath while courting adults ‘boat’ around the vessel playing hide and seek as they are attracted to the Amaroo's bright colours. Experience an up close and personal mugging as Whales move in to watch you, watching them. You won’t miss a minute of the action as the Whales lurch from the waves before your eyes. This is a must do experience made more special by the crew of the MV Amaroo who did all in their power to give us a great whale watching afternoon. Their knowledge of the area and the marine life added to the tour. We were fortunate to see several pods and interact with them. We would definitely do this again.

Plenty of room on the boat- not over crowded. Lots of communication between other boats to ensure maximum sightings

We had a wonderful time! The captain was very nice to take us around the different spots and was able to see whales and dolphins at the same time. He also let us take a copy of the photos of the day. The whales was very lively and active in the morning. One even jump infront of the boat!! THE WHALES are so close to our boat. Much better than in sea world GC. (Honest opinion)
