Divis
Divis flats was used as a British army base the top 2 floors when they occupied 1969 and stayed for over 25 years. This is the foot of the Republican Falls road and you will go through the narrow street depicted in films such as The Name of The Father.
Bobby Sands Mural
The world famous Falls road the birth place of the Provisional Irish Republican Army. Learn about 800 years of history of Irish history come and let your guide who lived throughout The Trroubles. These murals have been painted by locals people explaining the plight of the Catholic community. The Falls road is several mile long.

5.00This joined the dots about growing up on the neighbouring island and hearing and seeing news about the terrible and tragic events unfolding in Belfast. Full on and visceral at times. We knew the names of so many of the streets and locations but didn’t quite get the same detail transmitted to us through media in the 70s, 80s & 90s.

Being from London, I came with pre conceived views of the troubles, in a short 2 hour tours, he was able to educate me enough to entirely change my political views on the topic. Highly recommend.

Throughout the ride, he provided many opportunities for pictures and even parked the cab twice, climbed in back, and sat with us to tell the story of the troubles. We left with a much greater appreciation of the history of Northern Ireland.
