Wulong Karst geological park

Get started from downtown Chongqing at 0730, that would helps to avoid rush hour and buy us more excursion time. After 3 hours driving we'll pull over in highway rest area and take a simple quike lunch, then drive to the tourist reception. Upon arrival we need to take interior shuttle bus, which is mandatory for enviromental preservation. The ticket for both the national park and shuttle bus should be purchased here. Afterwords we walk to our primary site-natural born triple bridge. The admission fare for both Wulong Geological National Park and the interior shuttle bus is 125 yuan per adult.

Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges

Then move to Tiankeng(A giant sinkhole,also named the natural triple bridge), the primary sector of Wulong Karst Geological National Park. It's actualy a giant valley through 3 mountains with naturaly formed sink holes, look just like 3 huge bridges. We firstly will take an 80 meters high cliff side viewing elevator all the way down to the bottom Then we take a hiking tour through the giant sinkhole links all scenic spots including movie scenes of Transformer IV. The highlight is unique and magnificent natural landscape. The hiking takes approximately 2 hours, moderate intensity.

Xiushan County

While we are done in National Park we leave Wulong for Xiushan county, a small,quiet and beautful town in the southmost of Chongqing. It'll be 275 km and another 3.5 hour driving. We'll go through probably the most moutainous area in western China, wish you enjoy the amazing mountain view all the way. Upon arrival in Xiushan we'll get our dinner in town, local flavor cuisine will be expected. Then we check in our hotel, take a nice sleep after such a long day. We would recommend Howard Johnson Plaza (a brand new Wyndham run hotel, 4 star), or equivalence.

Red Stone Forest

We start from hotel at 0800 drive to our first destination-Red Stone Forest National Park. Here's another outstanding natural formed geological miracul which is a similarity of Antelop Canyon in Arizona. Adundance giant rocks appear incredible shapes and dark red color due to gradual weathering and corrosion within millions of yaers. We'll learn the whole area by hiking, we need you to watch your steps very cautionsly in case the amazing landscape distracting you unawares. We'll randomly pick up a local family restaurant for lunch on our way to Red Stone Park. The admission goes to 148 yuan per adult.

Biancheng Chadong Town

Then we get to our second stop-Biancheng old town (literally the isolating town), a small village located along the border between Chongqing and Hunan Province. We just did natural landscape in the morning then cultural learning acticity for afternoon. Those old architectures located on both sides of a river runs through this village, we'll be exploring and learning around this little cute town, take a unique "pulling ferry" cross that river, a conventional manual labour operated transportation particularly preserved to entertain tourists. That'll be lots fun. This old town is right on our way back, we take a one hour stop here then get back home. Another one hour driving from Red stone, and 40 min driving home.

Xiushan County

We'll be back home after dinner in Xiushan County.

Today we'll do one more attraction on our way back to Chongqing. After 2 hour's driving we'll be our first stop-Zhuoshui old town. The highlight of this small old town would be a tremendous lounge bridge, a typical ethnic style architecture pretty much represents ancient Chongqing culture. We'll take a walk on the bridge, enjoy the whole view of Zhuoshui town. This lounge bridge is actully the largest one in the world. Lunch will be either in Zhuoshui town or a highway rest area depends on our timing.

Chongqing

Then we drive all the way back to Chongqing, 300 km and 4 hours, dinner is not included. We'll deliver our travelers at any specified location in downtown Chongqing.
