What To Expect
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
Your private guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby around 08:30 or you request time, one hour drive to Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, around 3 hours enjoyable visit to museum pit 1, pit 2, pit 3 and Bronze Chariots all exhibition without any tourist factory stop. You will have a Xi'an authentic local restaurant lunch before one hour drive back downtown for afternoon activities. Your guide and driver will drive you back hotel at end of this whole day tour.
Xi'an City Wall
Follow your guide to climb up to the top of the 600 years old Ancient City Wall, and enjoy around 30 minutes comfortable and quietly walking or rent a bike do 30 minites to 1 hour cycling exercise on the top of the wall. You also will see local people's relaxation in moat park at the bottom of the Wall.

5.00Rena and her driver Mr Chao were amazing. Ms Rena was friendly, patient, and well versed in her history. They picked us up at our hotel and spent the next 13 hours driving us to several historical places, lunch, and their recommendation for dinner and the theater were spot on. Our group of three was varied with a local, one from Brazil, one from North America. We had a fabulous time, a wonderful day, and the terra-cotta soldiers did not disappoint. Food all day was great. A special shout out to Miss Rena, she made our day fabulous. Highly recommend her and this Travelocity package.

5.00Rosa was an excellent tour guide in Xi'an. She conducted herself with formal professionalism and delivered incredibly insightful knowledge of Chinese history, which made our visit to each site much more meaningful and enriching. Rosa was very well organized and ensured we had the best viewing and photo opportunities at the Terracotta Warriors, Big Goose Pagoda (we booked this in top of the tour), Xi'an City Wall, and the Muslim Quarters, including the Drum and Bell Towers. She also chose a wonderful restaurant for lunch and helped us order a nice variety of both local Xi'an specialties and popular Chinese dishes so we could enjoy a good mix of flavors. The overall logistics of the tour were streamlined and hassle-free. Rosa handled all attraction tickets for us and even coordinated wheelchair support at the Terracotta Warriors site, which was greatly appreciated given my mother-in-law’s mobility limitations. This level of care made the day much more comfortable and enjoyable for our whole family. We are so grateful we found Catherine Lu Tours. They provided us with a wonderful, well-organized experience in Xi'an that exceeded our expectations. Thank you Rosa and the entire team!

5.00I can highly recommend Catherine Lu and her team. We had a fantastic day with her guide Rosa visiting the Terracotta Army. The whole experience was 5 star and we had one of the best days. The driver was great, very professional and the car was spacious and very clean. Rosa spoke perfect English and gave us some really interesting information and facts. I could tell a lot of planning and thought had gone into the tour. At the museum we were shown the main sights plus some extra little things which we would have never noticed. Rosa made sure we were happy and were seeing everything, she had a great way of delivering the tour. My wife and I are fairly seasoned travellers and this tour was one of the best we have had. Thank you to the whole team at Catherine Lu.

5.00Wonderful full day! Our guide, William, was knowledgeable, communicative, and sensitive to our needs. At the end of the day we had an excellent understanding of the unification of China, the Qin Dynasty, the reason for the terracotta warriors, etc., and the importance of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and a calligraphy lesson (we had already visited the city wall), so William arranged a calligraphy lesson instead. Highly recommend! Also, the interaction with Viatour was easy and the driver was also excellent.

Lack of communication a day before our private tour and changed of our tour guide at the last minute until I asked!

3.00No response to my questions from Catherine after my payment made for a private tour “Top 3 highlights all inclusive in 8 hours”! Tried to contact the assigned tour guide Grace one day before the private tour but she is not reachable and not responding until I asked my hotel concierge to call Grace to re confirm the pick up time and venue. After a while, Grace finally sent me a message and told me to assign another tour guide Agnes at the last minutes. We met Agnes and the driver and they have no idea about the new arrangement. A bit disappointing about this unresponsive situation and they should be more proactive to inform me any changes ahead and not make me to reach out to them so many times and waited for their replies!
