Dorian was a wonderful guide and gave us a ton of history about the Mayans and Belize itself. Although Xunantunich ended up being closed due to heavy rains, he adjusted on the fly and took us to an alternate site. The drive itself was a great way to see the inland villages and landscape of Belize. It was a great day — highly recommend!

Flaco is a fantastic tour guide. He is truly knowledgeable and has done his homework. He is up on the latest archeological and anthropological research and loved discussing it with us. He was friendly, upbeat, and attentive. Dorian our driver was very good as well. The ruins themselves are spectacular... a fascinating complex of pyramids and structures. Very big! The one thing we didn't enjoy was the included lunch on the way home. They took us to a fast food chain restaurant that had terrible food; no one enjoyed it. We passed so many mom-n-pop restaurants with local Belizean cuisine along the way that we all would loved, but we ended up at the yucky chain restaurant.

Xunantunich ruins were magnificent! Our guide led us through the ruins while telling us information about the Maya culture in a fascinating and knowledgeable manner.

Great adventure. The guide was very good and we enjoyed our lunch at a local place. The ruins were so very interesting.
