It started with them “forgetting” to let us know that the time was changed to 8am. Sunny, the owner, blamed Viator, stating Viator changed the time to 7am. And she somehow to forgot to call us and tell us it was 8am. So we were out standing in the cold at 6:45am waiting for this bus that would come an hour and 15 minutes later. Then, after admission to the park, the tour operator gunned the bus while a tourist was standing giving back everyone’s entry passes. This tourist flew into another passenger (my sister) trying to break her fall (which it didn’t), and they both got hurt. It was an accident, but a very avoidable one that a tour guide should be very aware of as its basic safety. Then we get halfway through the tour— already hearing complaints from other travelers on how we were rushing through stops, we find out that the lunch that was supposed to be provided (because we paid for it along with the included souvenirs we didn’t get) that the tour guide had thought that she was providing the “55 and older” tour not the Open/glass top tour. I had an 8 and 9 yo in my party; it was pretty obvious we wouldn’t be part of the 55 yo tour. The 55 yo tour is 8 hours without lunch or souvenir. Our tour was supposed to be 10 hrs 15 min with lunch and souvenir. It wasn’t. These tours have a $63 difference in price. Sunny acknowledged the tour guide thought she was taking us on the “55 yo tour”, but refused to compensate us the difference. There are other companies that actually provide the tour you pay for; I’d advise you go with those. The tour guide was a sweet lady, and her boss didn’t take any accountability and just threw her under the metaphorical bus saying it was her fault. You are responsible for the tours you provide. And you provided the wrong tour. Shame on you.

Saw plenty of Bison, a grizzly bear , mule deer, baby Bisons with their mamas and other animals. Old Faithful was amazing as well as waterfalls, geysers and wonderful scenery.

My husband and I loved the beauty of Yellowstone but we are very disappointed in the misleading description and itinerary. We did not get what we had paid for with this specific company. What was supposed to be a 10 hour tour including lunch and Yellowstone National Park souvenir did not deliver. We did not receive the lunch promised, we did not receive any souvenir, and we were rushed at every stop making our 10 hour tour into a 7.5 hour tour not allowing adequate time to enjoy and see everything at the stops. Afterwards our tour guide told us to contact the owner (Sonny) because she was given the wrong tour. The owner Sonny claimed that was not the case and made an excuse for everything. She was very much defensive and argumentative. I would suggest anyone going find a different tour company. I’m including photos of our ticket and itinerary schedule. Please note that the max time we were given at any stop was 30 minutes which the majority stops being only 15 minutes allowed.

Ms. Phoebe was an excellent tour guide! Very informative, organized, and engaging. She made everyone feel welcome and kept the tour fun and interesting the whole time. One of the best tour experiences I’ve had.

It’s a great tour and very informative. The bus driver was very courteous and the lunch was great with all the snacks that were provided. It was nice to get on and off the bus to enjoy the sights and take pictures. The ride in the bus was very comfortable and accommodating.

This was a great small group tour and we were able to hit all of the major highlights. We went in May so avoided the crowds which was great. The van was comfortable and the windows allowed everyone to see everything clearly. I know that it opened up but we opted not to as it was windy. Didn’t feel like it took away from the experience at all. Ken was a great guide. The only confusing part was the lunch. It said it came with a deli sandwich and fresh fruit. Instead we got to pick a sandwich from the snack place at the hotel. It was odd. Also our tour said we got a souvenir but not sure what that was. It would have been nice to stop at the visitor center to be able to purchase something.

My wife booked this tour through your site, my credit card was billed well over 1000.00$ and we were given instructions where to meet the tour and the time , which was 7am. We were staying over an hour away, the morning of the tour we drove in a snow storm for a scheduled excursion through Yellowstone park from the West Gste. We arrived at the pick up location 15 minutes early at 6:45 and waited until it was 10 minutes past the time given. We began calling various numbers we had for the actual tour operator until finally we were able to get someone on the phone. They informed us that they only do summer tours and didn’t understand how we were able to book this through the site. Faced with no tour and a wasted day of my vacation through a strike of luck I found another tour company , who happened to have 4 seats open on one of their snow coaches for my group, we needed 5, I had to sit in the cab with the tour operator, not with my family for all 12 hours of the tour. I was grateful that my family at least had a good experience. I also had to pay another 1400$ , a bit more than the original tour , but I didn’t have much of a choice at that point or I could drive an hour and ten minutes back to Big Sky and have my vacation ruined. I wish I could give the site negative stars as if it wasn’t for my own resourcefulness as well as some mercy from another tour company we wouldn’t have gotten to see Yellowstone in the winter which was why we came out here from New Jersey to begin with.

Great Tour except we didn't see the Great Prismatic Spring We had a long day touring Yellowstone with Dave. He picked us up at our motel in a Mercedes Bus that the top comes off. Great for photographers. It was a long day from Cody to the lower loop . So we saw most of the minor and important sights but 1 important one - The Grand Prismatic Spring. When asked why we weren't going to see the spring we were told that "there wasn't enough time and if we had a problem to take it up with my boss". I get it. Its a long day and it's been a long summer working probably more than wanted. However you folks need to get on the same page. The Spring is clearly advertised as a stop and is one of the most important reasons why people go to Yellowstone. So all I'm asking for is for you folks to get on the same page because we paid $600 for the tour and should have at least seen ALL the most important sights on the lower loop. Others who take the tour deserve to see all that they pay for and if there is no time to see it take it off the website as a stop.
