What To Expect
Yosemite Valley
Food and Drinks

At midday, your guide will serve a gourmet picnic lunch. We cater to all dietary request with notice!
Yosemite Valley
We’ll spend the day doing short walks along the valley floor to see the cliffs above. Many walks take us along the shores of the Merced River which goes from a raging flow in the spring to a trickle by late fall.
Yosemite Falls
We may hike partly up or to the top of Yosemite Falls - one of the tallest in the world!
El Capitan
We’ll stop to take in views of the massive granite wall. We may spend some time watching climbers make their way up with our binoculars.
Bridalveil Fall
Take a short walk to the base of the falls and get splashed by its mist!
Mirror Lake/Meadow Trail
We’ll take a hike to the peaceful and serene lake for views of Half Dome and North Dome.
Mist Trail
Depending on conditions, we may take the Mist Trail to Vernal Falls - get ready for a steep uphill climb and lots of waterfall spray. The views at the top make all the steps worth it!
Yosemite High Country and Giant Sequoias

Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias
Wander through a grove of some of the largest living organisms on earth, the Giant Sequoia. Learn about how they’re uniquely adapted to this specific ecosystem and how they’ve survived for thousands of years.
Tuolumne Meadows
This two mile long meadow in the Yosemite High Country is home to mountain goats, mule deer, small mammals, and birds. We may take a leisurely hike to spot wildlife and breathe in the fresh air.
Four Mile Trail
More ambitious hikers may opt for a hike from the Valley Floor to its top with a hike up the Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point. This is a full day hike.
Glacier Point
We'll drive up Glacier Point road for views from above. Hikes may include Taft Point, Sentinel Dome, or a walk along the Panorama trail.

5.00My wife and I had a great time on our two day private guided tour. Our guide Maddie was exceptional - very knowledgeable, engaging, punctual and fun! We spent one day in the valley and one day in the higher part of the park. A great experience with nice vantage points to see many of the iconic vistas in Yosemite. Booking with Good Trip Adventures was seamless, and all communication was timely and complete. A wonderful guide and top-notch organization.

5.00Max Ginkel was our guide for almost three full days (including a transfer from Fresno Airport). He really thought ahead about our itinerary to make it a really special adventure. We did much more than I thought we could and he kept us away from the crowds. So many highlights...and the picnic lunch on the final day was delicious. Add to this his immense knowledge of the area and fantastic energy, not to mention his great style. We will be booking with Max for our next US national parks adventure. Joshua Tree is next I think.

5.00My wife and I did this Yosemite private tour and hike by Good Trip Adventures in the last two days. It was a most enjoyable and satisfying trip. This has been mostly due to Kimberly from Good Trip Adventures. Kimberly understood our interests and physical abilities perfectly; accordingly she put together a perfect plan by which we would both enjoy all the treks while also not stressing out too much. I lacked the stamina to continuously go up on slopes, but Kimberly was with me all through, talking to me, giving encouragement, providing the needed rests at the right places, checking my pulse to make sure that I was fine and so on. In the end, I felt so good scaling to the top of Vernal Falls, trekking up to the mid 800 feet elevation point of Yosemite Falls, the visit to Bridalveil falls, Glacier point view close to the sunset time, and hiking up slope to see the grand sequoias in the Mariposa Grove. The Mist trail experience was the one we enjoyed most! Kimberly also discussed our dietary requirements a couple of days before the trip and served us excellent and healthy lunches in the two days. Hey Kimberly, Geetha and I thank you so much for making this to be one of the most memorable nature trips we have ever had in our life! We will contact you for doing more such trips in the future.

5.00Our guide Beau was exceptional and made every minute count. We saw everything on our Yosemite list and then some. I thought it was only going to be landscapes but the power and majesty of Yosemite just knocked me out.

Hannah provided lots of thoughtful info about the plants, geology, and cultural history of Yosemite. The lunch spreads and snacks were excellent and considerate of dietary restrictions. I also very much appreciated her advice about the upcoming destinations on our road trip — it was generous and on point. This was helpful and all done after our time together was over.

Thanks to her we got to enjoy secluded natural hot springs, amazing meals, drives through beautiful wild landscapes, and several incredible hikes in two different states even after her time guiding us was over. This was super helpful for us since we were traveling from the East Coast and not as intimately familiar with less famous special spots out west. Thank you, Hannah!

5.00Malo was exceptional! She was knowledgeable and a joy to hang out with for two days. The private tour made everything so easy. Getting in and out of the park, directions, picnic lunches, guided hikes were all fantastic. It was so nice not to worry about where we needed to be at what time but just to be her guest with everything handled for us. She also stayed very flexible and tailored our tour to exactly what we wanted.
