1.00This tour is a scam! I was called night before and told that the tour doesn’t include ANY tickets and we needed to pay $100 more per person after the $210 paid!

1.00They did coordinate the zip line and sanctuary and got us there and back but it felt like a very expensive uber. Once at the sanctuary and exhibition we were guided by a very large group tour , the driver did not do any guiding just drove us there and back. If you want to save $400 book directly with the zip line company and exhibitions (they are Nextdoor to each other) and take Ubers.

5.00We met Bill when we ordered an Uber at the airport and decided to take the tour to Mamei Island. We hesitated to do the popular tour to San Blas because we had read about its disadvantages. Bill was very transparent and suggested this other tour. Our day was amazing; he is very charismatic and told us about the culture and history of the country and the area. We spent the day in the Mamei Islands, exploring the mangroves and fort. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it!

1.00I would not recommend this “private tour” at all. This is basically an extremely expensive uber experience. Save yourself $110. The “tour guide” just drove us to the location we had to pay for the experience and the tour guide sat in his car waiting for us… took one picture in a location that was completely random and full of people in the background. Truly a scam.

5.00My 87- year old husband and I went on this tour on Sunday. Let me begin by saying Raissa the coordinator was great at coordinating the logistics and keeping in touch. Our pickup driver Oscar was fantastic. He is a native Panamaian with a wealth of knowledge about the canal and the entire history of Panama. He is also very funny and entertaining. We began the tour with the zipline. We had never done this before and I was a bit apprehensive but the great team of strong and experienced young men, Jonathan, David, Jose and the logistical team were terrific. They carefully went over the equipment and put us at ease right away. You start with a low practice line and then go higher and longer each time. All 3 guys were with us the entire time and were more then helpful at each stage. The ziplining itself was a great adrenalin rush and a lot of fun. After zipping we went to the Slough Sanctuary right next door. We saw many species of native butterflies. orchids and small very colorful frogs. The highlight of course was seeing the sloughs. There were 4 individusls all hanging from their own tree limb, up on a stage inside the habitat. I have heard people on this forum complain that the animals should be in the wild. Those who said that did not pay attention to the guide who explained they were all rescued from car accidents and parental abandonment and could not survive in the wild and NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH OR HOLD THEM. The narrator did a good job of explaining about them and their typical life style and answered all questions. They are quite cute and worth seeing up close because you'll never get that close to them in the wild!

1.00The driver picked us up 1 hour late! It was NOT a private tour! The only thing this tour offers is a ride to and from the activity. I could have saved $400 by taking an Uber each way. And I wouldn't have been Late!

5.00My husband and I booked the Zipline and Sloth Sanctuary Tour with Embera Tours and we were not disappointed! Bill, our tour guide, was extremely kind and shared his vast knowledge of Gamboa and the Panama Canal. 10/10 would recommend!

5.00We had an amazing exciting and fabulous time. The guide was very informative, helpful always giving updates and make if sure we understood where we were going. Our tour could not be done Monday because of cleaning and the guide got us discounts to zip line I recommend this tour.
