My brother, sister-in-law, husband & I went on the Zip Line tour. It was part of a travel package that was prearranged for us. The following was what our tour package had said about the zip lining: "Begin your day with an exciting outing, flying high above the Sacred Valley on a zip line! Equipped with a harness, helmet and gloves, start with a beautiful 35-minute hike from the base to reach the first descent cable. Experienced guides will hook you to each cable by means of a pulley fixed to the harness and you’ll descend to the next point, surrounded by breathtaking views. In total, the zip line circuit has 7 lines of cables for a total of 2,800 meters of pure fun." It was NOT a 35 minute hike - it was a mountain climb in which we needed to be tethered on a safety line because the incline was so steep! With the 4 of us all being in our 60's (but decent shape) - it took us close to an hour for the hike. A lot of it had to do with we weren't acclimatized to the high elevation and needed to stop often to catch our breath. Note to other travellers - give yourself 2-3 days to acclimatize and not less than 24 hours. The view was spectacular! The zip lines were awesome! All of us had a lot of fun and our guides were great. We had one minor set back which I would blame on the original write up that we were given. We had previously gone zip lining quite a few times in different countries and about a 1/2 hour hike sounded normal. Because of this, I wore running shoes instead of my hiking boots that I was going to wear for the Inca Trail. On one of the zip lines, we needed to go tandem. I was getting on behind my husband when he started to move a bit and because of that, my shoe fell off and dropped hundreds of feet down the side of the mountain! Fortunately our quick thinking guide, Brian, used some medical tape and taped a leather glove on my foot for a make-shift shoe. Although I told him a number of times not to bother looking for it, he did unsuccessfully try to find my shoe. He went way above and beyond what was expected! Even with the set back, we still had a fabulous time and it made our experience completely unforgettable! We would highly recommend this. Had we known what kind of a hike we were going to go on, I'm not sure if we would have signed up for it but we're all really glad that we did!

I loved the experience! I was afraid and yet I was the first of the group to pass so comforting they are From the start to the meeting point until the return everything was perfect! We do not want to contact to keep us informed of our transport - made on site we were accompanied even to ask for toilets - our guide Samuel has reassured us and explain in 2 languages the process - delicacy accompaniment and kindness throughout the activity 🥰 to do again and I recommend 100% I would have liked the company to offer other activities I would have taken with them ♥️

Great fun and stunning views over the sacred valley! We got to do all 4 ziplines within an hour and there was the option to do the giant swing afterwards for a few extra soles. Each zipline was designed for different positions and my mum and I both attempted the “Condor” and “Spider-Man” which were great fun! Definitely recommend if you have some free time during your stay in Cusco.

Great team and good safety instructions. Felt secure considering the heights and lengths of these zip wires. We didn’t do the swing but it was great fun. Just the right amount of adrenaline 🤣
