A Foxtrail is a mixture of sightseeing, scavenger hunt and escape game where the trail of the virtual fox has puzzles and hidden messages for you that have to be found and solved so that you can find the next post. But watch out the fox is very cunning now and then - but if you can't get any further, just call the free helpline and get back on track. You can only achieve your goal with team spirit, skill and intelligence!

What To Expect
On this trail, Zurich main station is rediscovered. It is not the arrival and departure board that is in the foreground, but rather the traces that the fox has left in places where the traveler rarely goes. The new course therefore requires a lot of creativity. The trail of the fox is explosive, the tasks are tricky and the tracks are hidden everywhere. In order to take up the chase and track down the clever fox, the teams have to reach through a waterfall and decipher gushing messages, among other things. The SBB dispatcher even has to use the light signal to help the pursuers on the jumps. Especially in the colder months of the year, a brilliant idea to discover Switzerland's largest train station in a playful way. With the booking confirmation, the Foxtrail tickets can be picked up directly from the ZVV Contact Center in the main station in Halle Löwenstrasse (access to platforms 31-34) or from Zurich Tourism.

5.00We came out of our train unsure how to get the train south to our destination in the suburbs. Suddenly a lady appeared and started helping us. She helped us with buying the correct tickets too on the machine and made sure we didn't leave the credit card in the machine. We gave our heartfelt thanks and went off to the correct place for the platforms. To get there there are 3 floors but we couldn't spot the lifts. We went for the middle one and it was the right one. This time I asked someone where the lifts for the platform were. He got up off his seat and took us there. Once at the platform we didn't know which side of the platform our train would be. The young woman I asked took the trouble to explain to me how the system worked. I have done my bit of travelling but I have never met such kind and helpful people in any other country. So, if you find yourself in the main railway station, I assure you there will be help even if you don't go to the Tourist Information Office.

5.00I was with my two sons (5 and 7) on the foxtrail zurich hb. From a distance point of view he is good to do but he was not quite as easy. So for us great but if you are not so puzzling, you should have one more adult with you. The posts are sooooo great done. The people in charge were really thinking something.

5.00Heard a lot about Foxtrail from lots of Swiss friends. Foxtrail is a really fantastic activity. This one in Zurich HB can be done when the weather isn’t perfect. All loved it. Wi definitely try to do more in the next coming months.

4.00The trail was once again a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we had small technical problems: At ANGELUS we missed the fourth color because the light was very weak, at SOPA we were told a false smell, at item POMA the word "fruit" was a bit confusing and at HORARIUM the scanner on the first ticket machine did not work. Otherwise very ingenious and we went home very satisfied.

5.00Largest railway station in Switzerland and probably one of the largest online whole Europe as well. There are more than 40 platforms and you could easily get lost here if don't follow the paths properly. Have connections to all parts of the country. They also provide lockers to store your luggage so that you can have a roam around the city without having to carry heavy bags with you.

4.00As a result of bad weather, we went on this Fox trail. A rather short trail, but I just loved it! I have done other trails (Winthi, Baden, Lucerne) and found the one in Winthi a bit long - we had 3.5h for sure. In this one we were enthusiastic about the all very inventive posts! A big thank you also to the friendly Lush staff! We had fun and can only recommend the trail. Be sure to take a black pen with you....
