What a great way to spend 90 minutes and learn so much about Chicago architecture. Even with the rain, it was a fantastic experience—Chicago is truly is a beautiful city! Thank you to the Chicago Architecture Center.

Our guide, Mila, curated a beautifully balanced menu of Chicago structures including not only iconic sites like Marina City, the Jewelers Building, and the Carbon & Carbide Building, but also hidden gems that I didn't even know existed! The fully restored Art Deco lobby of the former Chicago Motor Club and two separate interior Tiffany mosaics were particular highlights. Mila kept our multi-generational group safe as we crossed busy streets and always found shady spots for lecture stops along the way on a hot summer day. Talks were informative but never boring. Our guide struck the perfect balance; imparting dates and notable architectural details while weaving in fascinating stories of Chicago personalities like Daniel Burnham and Marshall Field and more! She even got the group thinking and chatting by asking us what we noticed--inviting us to look closer. Chicago Architecture Center is the gold standard for all your Chicago buildings and history needs. Accept no substitutions! I've lived in Chicago for 25+ years and still learn something new on every CAC tour. The "Intro to Chicago Architecture" walk was no exception.

Molly was our tour guide and she was fantastic. There were only four of us in our tour group and she did a great job of showing us the buildings, giving us their background and answering all of our questions. I highly recommend Chicago architecture Center walking tours. It's a great way to see the city , learn about its history , and meet some wonderful people along the way.

John I. gave great insights into Chicago history and architecture - talking about the stories and transition of Chicago, pointing out design and material details of buildings, and covering a good range of architecture types from art deco to modernist.

Mary Ann Spino was simply excellent. She knew so much about every building we visited. Her stores made it even more enjoyable. I’ve been on another tour with Mary Ann and she is a delightful and informative decent. It was a wonderful morning.
