5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Alec on a private Road to Hana tour, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. Alec was so much more than a tour guide. His knowledge of the island, its history, culture, and hidden gems made every stop meaningful and memorable. He was personable, professional, and incredibly accommodating, making us feel like we were exploring with a longtime friend rather than being on a tour. What truly set Alec apart was his talent behind the camera. Throughout the day, he captured amazing photos and videos of our experience that we never could have gotten on our own. Not only did he know all the best locations, but he also took the time to make sure every shot was perfect. We came away with incredible memories and beautiful keepsakes from the day. The Road to Hana is breathtaking on its own, but Alec elevated the entire experience. His enthusiasm, attention to detail, and genuine passion for what he does are unmatched. 5.00Our day with Alec was amazing, he knows this mountain intimately, pretty sure he can drive it with his eyes closed, took us to many waterfalls, black sand beach (off the beaten path) and the bamboo forest, and much more he was knowledgeable, helpful to others driving the road and a great time, Alec made sure my husband and I got the most of this once in a lifetime experience! He also does the MOST to get that amazing photo of you, I’m talking running up the road to get to the other side to photo you with the most amazing background he was a lunatic in the very BEST way and made our road to Hana trip! There’s no way we would have enjoyed it like we did if we drove ourselves. Plenty of bathroom breaks and he even got us Auntie Sandy’s banana bread and some Hawaii golden pineapple on the way ❤️ if you’re thinking of booking this tour with Alec the answer is YES do it ! This trip and Alec will be etched in our memories and our hearts forever!

5.00Alec is the man! I took the time to make sure we were taken care of. He was able to show us things that most others miss. If you are going to drive Hana, you must do it with Alec. Was the highlight of our week!

He knows the roads like the back of his hand and takes you off the beaten path to go hiking and find some beautiful secret waterfalls and spots. He captured some incredible pictures of our family that I love. We had an absolute blast and saw some truly incredible places. Definitely bring or purchase some water shoes for this tour! We loved it!

5.00An excellent day in the Jeep with guide Alec . He’s very knowledgeable of the history of the area and the hidden gems to discover on the road to Hana without the crowds. Quiet places with beautiful falls, swimming holes, bamboo forests & more. He took great pictures and videos for us to remember our trip by too! He has a great sense of humor which made it all the more fun and I felt like we were saying goodbye to a good friend at the end of the day!

5.00Alec was an awesome guide who took us off the beaten path. He shown us places on the road to Hana that were not touristy at all. No crowds or waiting in line for us! He knew all the business people along the way and they treated us very well. Alec is an excellent tour guide who will take you to see anything you want OR you can just go with the flow and see all of his favorite hidden gems of the jungle.

1.00Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating experience. I booked this tour 2 months ago as part of our 20th wedding anniversary trip to Maui. I received a text confirmation the night before telling us to be in the lobby of our resort at 7am for pick up. We waited in the lobby from 7-8:18 after having texted and called, without a response from the tour operator. When Alec finally returned my call, he asked if he spoke to me the previous evening and then asked ME who he had in his car, since he had already picked up another couple. I guess verifying ID and the actual booking information that we were emailed is not a regular part of his process. He then tried to play it off like a scheduling error. At no point did he offer any sort of resolution to rectify HIS error. If you are planning a vacation that you have waited for and saved for, I would recommend booking with someone who is going to be dependable and provide the experience you’ve been dreaming of. Unfortunately, that is not this company.
