  Unfortunately this wasn't quite what I had expected. If you are an experienced traveler, you might be better off doing this on your own as this person didn't really provide any value. This person is not an official guide of course, but could have done much better given the circumstances and information provided.

  Irene was the best tour guide we’ve ever had!! Very knowledgeable and personable. She made us feel like a local. Will definitely come back to Busan!!!

  The process of booking the tour was easy, and the local tour company Lokafy reached out with a questionnaire about my hopes for the tour. But things fell apart when Lokafy didn't listen to any of my requests. I wanted a tour of Jagalchi Fish market in Busan complete with info on the history of the market, how it's used now, types of seafood we'd see. But our guide wanted to take us to other areas, didn't eat seafood, and said she "didn't even really like food" in general. For a foodie myself, this was a complete let down. She kept telling us all the stalls "were the same" in the sprawling largest fish market in all of Korea. Luckily, she was able to answer many questions we had, but offered little new insights without us asking. And she spoke Korean, although wasn't a local, and could interact with the seafood merchants on our behalf. I was disappointed by the whole experience, but still got more out of it than if I went by myself.

• The perfect amount of time for Seoul

  I was extremely happy I chose this particular Seoul tour. First things first, the tour guide, John was waiting for us in the hotel lobby at the designated time. From there, my cousin and I introduced ourselves, we were escorted to a comfortable air conditioned vehicle… and our tour began. I would highly recommend this tour. There were no communication issues and my guide John was knowledgeable and professional.

  Evgeniya took me on a wonderful walking tour of Busan. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the town, its people and culture. I learnt a lot and got some awesome photos. Highly recommend!

  A short and brilliant tour that showed my friend and I the sights and sounds of Busan. The guide was very helpful and he went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience. I highly recommend this for those who have just arrived in Busan and want to get a feel of the city and find out where to go. A must!

  Dorian is a super friendly and very attentive guide. The tour was flexible and enjoyable. It's clear that Dorian cares a great deal about his city and wants his guests to enjoy it as much as he does. Dorian was open to answering questions on a wide variety of topics.
