  Great experience if you like a bit of speed & something different. The guys were very informative, only thing was you could hardly hear them with all the wind noise. We obviously booked thru Viator but it was double the price than booking directly with the bike guys. they were at the wharf advertising & ready for rides.

  Awesome! Mark was a fabulous driver who was friendly and accommodating. Got to see parts of the town from a vantage point like no other. Went fast enough the get the pulse properly racing but not to the point where you felt unsafe. Few places where you can experience such a vehicle - 5.7 litre engine capable of in excess of 240 kph! Not that you will get anywhere close to that speed on the town roads - though fast enough for a little power slide if the ground is damp. Super experience, must be tried.

  An exhilarating ride with Andy to visit locations around the Bay. The slight rain did not spoil the ride, Andy was always courteous to other road users and kept within speed restrictions but it didn’t stop him from opening up the throttle at every opportunity. His friendly commentary was light and informative. The trip was well organised so a big thank you to Denise. Would recommend this tour.

  Denise was incredibly accommodating in offering us a different time from. the one booked that suited our day better. Mark drove us around beautiful scenery for an hour, telling us about the history & meanings of the many Maori & other locations that we saw. His Thunder Trike was comfortable & powerful, so that we never had to worry about the route or when we would get back. We thoroughly enjoyed the thrill of riding in the wind with all that V8 power, & the all-important photos he assisted us with will give us great memories for years to come.

  We did a trike ride around the Bay of Islands and overall it was a memorable experience. Our driver was super friendly, made us feel safe, and was a very good, confident driver. He clearly knows the area well and was easy to chat to, which made the ride enjoyable. the highlight for us was definitely the the unique way to see the Bay. Riding along the coastline on a trike is something different and fun, and we appreciated the care taken to make sure we were comfortable throughout the ride.
