サント・アントニオ・ダ・バーラ要塞はエストリルにある16世紀の海岸要塞で、セバスティアン王の治世中にタグス川の入り口を防衛するために建設された。かつてはリスボンの海上防衛システムの一部であったが、後にドム・カルロス王の避暑地となった。海からは、その堂々とした城壁がポルトガルの軍事・王室遺産の象徴として、カスカイスとリスボンの間の海岸を守っている。

Fantastic trip on this heritage boat from Lisbon to Cascais. Gaby and Rui were really friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the sights and history of Lisbon in a very engaging manner, as well making sure that everyone was happy. Loved that this was a small boat, owner operated, and you felt that this was much more than the normal tourist cruise.

Fantastic time, got to see the gorgeous sunset and they provided blankets when it got chillier. It was a laid back group and the staff was very helpful in identifying landmarks for me and providing history.

Rui and Gabriela are great hosts, they explain everything as we pass through the fortresses near the Costa, it is even open bar. I loved and recumendo .

Rui and Gabi are two people full of energy and positivity, which made the whole ride even more special. Rui always guided us safely, explaining with clarity and sympathy everything that would happen along the way. In turn, Gabi was extremely attentive and demonstrated an impressive knowledge, always ready to explain the sights in an interesting and engaging way. Excellent experience with a new business. We were very fortunate to have the boat nearly to ourselves so almost exclusive time with the mate. Her knowledge of the river and area really came through as she pointed out not just the regular sights but also with great historical context. Definite recommend!
